Flower Fields (Paper Mario)

Karasz: Electricty? *Slashes Lakithunder again.*

*Meanwhile...*

Luigi: There you are!! *encounters Lifty and Shifty*

Lifty and Shifty: *squabbling at each other and flies off.*

Luigi: HEY!! *chases them.*

* Lakithunder throws electrified Spinies at Karasz*

Godot: *fires lasers at the spinies* We might want to take it up a step!

Lamont: Oh. Yeah! *jumps on the Skull and fires missiles at Lakithunder*

Lakithunder: I have something that should make my job a little easier* pulls out a smash ball, breaks it, and uses it, causing lots of thunderbolts to fall from the sky*
Psi Guy: Woah! * Jumps out of the way of a thunderbolt, barely dodging it* Don't let those hit you, even one little hit can knock you out cold.

*Karasz pulls out his Power Shield.*

Sarina: Ahh!! *Flees from the thunderstorms.*

Mario: AYE! Take-a-cover! *hides behind the boulders.*

Psi Guy: If only we could get a thunderbolt to hit him.

Godot: *leaps out of the way of one* Gee, where I can I get one of those Smashballs? *fires another laser volley at Lakithunder*

Psi Guy: Anybody have something like a lightning rod? or something that can refelect those laser bolts? Woah!* Jumps away from another thunderbolt*

Mario: Oh! *pulls out a Lightning Rod* Good thing I have this! *absorbs the Lightning BOlt.*

Psi Guy: Quick, you got to stick that on Lakithunder so the bolt can shock him.

*Mario jumps over to Lakithunder and shocks him.*

Lakithunder: Nooooooooooooooo! not one of the smash ball thunderbolts! You still won't stop this place from freezing inn time! *Faints, drops a gem, and two duplighosts carry him out of the topic*
Psi Guy: Whats this that he dropped?
*The gem floats into Lakilester's hands*
Mysterous Voice: Oh hero of prophecy, you are the owner of the gem of speed.
Lakilester: What?
Voice: You think that because you lost your cloud, you are slow, speed does not come from clouds, sometimes, all you need is a little gem to speed up.*voice fades*
Lakilester: What just happened?

Mario: Looks-a-like you got the Speed Gem!

*Luigi beats up Lifty and Shifty and hops on Lakilester's cloud.*

Luigi: Oh yeah! Luigi did it! *flies back to Lakilester.* Found your cloud

Lakilester: thanks *takes the cloud*
Psi Guy: I remember something from the prophecy, "Only when the each member of the eight heroes has received his gem, then and only then will the doors to dark one's tower open for them." We need to find the other seven gems if we want to stop Duplidemon. Plus each one gives us a unique ability. Lakilester can use his gem for a speed boost. Also, we better not linger here much longer, we don't want to get frozen in time.

Mario: Well, I guess we'll find the other seven! *leaves with Luigi, Karasz, and Sarina.*

Psi Guy: wait for us! * My four characters leave*

Godot: Oh, now we get to play pretty gem chaser. *gets on Skull, picks Lamont up and puts him on the back* Let's go. *they leave the topic*

*the topic becomes completely gray and is frozen in time*

*Violet enters the topic with a bag full of plants and her shovel and sees what has become of the place.*

Violet: Oh, dear. What am I to plant now? Everything looks so... Gray-ish...

*Violet later leaves the topic.*

Meadow and Roberto (who is now fully recovered) enter Flower Fields and gasp.

Meadow: Roberto?

Roberto: This doesn't look very promising, maybe we should leave.

Meadow: But our home!

Roberto: We'll be fine Meadow, as long as we are togther. Now come, I don't think it is all that safe here at the moment...

Meadow: And I just planted too!

*Roberto starts to leave, but Meadow calls for him to stay*

Meadow: Look at this! *pointing to what looks like Minh T.*

Roberto: Oh dear... this is terrible. I'm afraid she's been frozen just like everything else. There is nothing we can do, andiamo.

*A tear falls down Meadow's cheek but she follows and the two leave the topic*

*The topic returns to normal*

Meadow and Roberto enter Flower Fields and see Minh.

Meadow: MINH!

Minh: MEADOW!!

Roberto: *ahem*

Meadow: *to Roberto* D'you need a cough drop dear?

Roberto: Nevermind.

Minh: I'm so glad to see you two! Something terrible happened while you were gone!

Meadow: I know dear, we came back after Vinny's wedding and saw everything.

Minh: But now that it's normal we can go back to gardening!

Meadow: Yes! Roberto, go make some tea.

Roberto: *sigh* Yes dear.

Roberto then walks to their house; a charming little cottage that is exactly similar to the one in Copper Town, except instead there is a small kitchen where the store counter was, a large garden split up into four distinct parts, and ivy growing up the outside walls.

Minh then follows Meadow to a patch of unplanted land and they start planting and talking.

*Lakilester enters topic*

Meadow: *to Minh* See, all done!

Minh: Well that makes sense, but watermelon rines?

Meadow gets up and dusts off her apron.

Meadow: Yes.

Meadow then puts her hands above the ground and hums. A green light emits from her palms and bathes the ground until several green sprouts shoot up.

Meadow: I've never been too fond of germination, and this way works much better!

Minh: Will you teach me sometime?

Meadow: *walking towards the house* Perhaps, dear.

*An Alaskan Bull Worm squirms fastly into the topic and devours the flowers in one gulp. He leaves the topic.*
