Cloaked Sniper: No, I'm just mearly stating a fact. Freaks like you would kill humans without thinking twice, so I was just protecting myself.

The other cloaked figure sighs. If it weren't for the goggles they were wearing, Alex could see that the sniper was glaring at the other one.

Cloaked Sniper: What's your problem?

Cloaked Figure: *Feminine.* Nothing...

Cloaked Sniper: Whatever... *Turns back to Alex.* So what is a freak like you doing all the way out here in the dunes?

Cloaked Sniper: Hunting for food. *Turns to the other figure.* Go get the scorpion.

The cloaked figure sighs and retrieves the corpse of the Dune Scorpion. She then drags the Dune Scorpion over to a Jeep parked a few feet away from the group.

Cloaked Sniper: Now if we are done here, we're leaving.

Cloaked Figure: What about him?

Cloaked Sniper: What ABOUT him?

Cloaked Figure: We can't leave him out here!

Cloaked Sniper: Sure we can. We just get inside the Jeep and drive off.

Cloaked Figure: He'll die!

Cloaked Sniper: And I should care... why?

Alex, already tired of the cloaked sniper being a jerk, pulls out his SMG and puts it against the sniper's head.
Alex: The way I see it, you have two options. You either let me in the jeep with you and keep your mouth shut, or I can blow your brains out and take the jeep myself.

The cloaked sniper looks down the barrel of the SMG then turns to the jeep.

Cloaked Sniper: Fine, he can come.

The cloaked sniper then throws his sniper rifle into the back of the jeep and hops into the driver's seat. After several attempts with the ignition, the jeep starts up.

Cloaked Figure: ...*Turns to Alex.* Excuse my ex. The heat always gets to him.

Alex turns to normal and hops into the backseat of the jeep.

The cloaked figure gets into the passeenger seat and the sniper finally drives off, deeper into the dunes.

Unnoticed in the distance, a lone reaper is standing on a pillar of rock, watching the group drive off.

Back in the jeep...

Cloaked Figure: *To Alex.* So where are you from?

The jeep abruptly stops outside the entrance to cave and the sniper hops out, grabs his rifle, and walks into the cave. The figure removes her goggles and pulls down the cloth covering her mouth. She then turns to Alex, showing her blue eyes and near perfect face.

Maria: I'm Maria. *Holds out hand.*
