Mission Control (Gex)

Gex's secret lair, much like Batman's Batcave. The Mission Control consists many technological things. Mostly, there are television portals that take Gex to another world. Other than television themselves, Gex has many gadgets, disguises, and even his own personal collection of golden flies.

*Gex is sitting on his sofa, doing what he always does best, watching television.*

Gex: I wonder what's on t'day? *checks TV Guide* Ooh sweet!! *turns it on to the Wrestling Channel*

Wrestler: *on TV* YOU WANT TO TAKE ON ME?! BRING IT!!

*The two wrestlers beat each other up*

Ref: *on TV* Break it up! This ain' *gets bashed by another wrestler*

*The crowd gasps.*

Gex: And that's the way the cookie crumbles!

Alfred enters the room.

TV: Wrestling Maniacs will return after these messages. *commercial about adopting a Rabbid* Hey kids! Would you like to adopt your very own Rabbid? Now you can! Introducing "Pet Rabbids!" They talk, they hit you with plungers, they even scream!! Adopt one today!

Gex: Pet Rabbids is not responsible for rabies, and other things that could kill you.

Alfred: Those things will give me nightmares, sir.

Gex: Indeed it does, Alfred.

Rabbid: *on TV* DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!! *bashes the camera with his plunger*

TV: We are now back to Wrestle Maniacs! *the TV shows that the Primids are taking over the whole arena*

Wrestler: *on TV* I'M GONNA THRASH EVERYTHING-- *gets turned into a trophy by a Primid's Dark Cannon*

Gex: WHOA!! O_O;;

TV: *it shows the "Technical Difficulties" message*

Alfred: I'm sure it's just part of the show.

Gex: I doubt it, Alfred. Monsters don't belong on wrestling programs, unless of course if they're wearing the masks. *Changes the channel*

TV: Midtown Cowboys are comin' home!!

Sam: *on TV* We better think of something to hide Bessie before--

*Knock knock*

Mr. Featherly: *Philos, but on TV* Open up in there! I know you're hiding a cow!

Max: *on TV* Yep, we're screwed, Sam.

Sam: *on TV* Not too worry. I have a plan. *puts a chef's hat on Bessie*

Mr. Featherly: *comes in* I knew it! You were-- Well, it's you again! What have you been cooking up lately?

Sam: He has been cooking up with a new kind of cruisine.

Mr. Featherly: And where is this new gourmet?

Sam: Right there beside you.

Mr. Featherly: Ooh! What is this? *eats the soylant green, which he is unaware of* Say, it tastes like meat.

Sam: It's one of the Chef's latest creation.

Max: Soylant Green!!

Mr. Featherly: THat's funny. It tasted like... O_O;; HUMAN?!!? SOYLANT GREEN IS PEOPLE!! PEOPLE I TELL YA!!

Max: Better get the toothpaste!!

Alfred just watches.

Gex: Boy, the latest episode is more like a re-run. The original one is about tricking the landlord into thinking cowpie is actually Moo Goo Gai Pan. Otherwise, the episode is fine. *Changes the channel... which..* What the..

Gex: What... *changes the channel, but with the same thing* How the-- *changes it, same thing* How the...

Gex: Something tells me that Rez created his new plot for world domination.

*The TV that shows Channel Z hypnotized Alfred. Demonic chanting is heard from the TV*

Gex: Alfred! What's wrong? You got something itchy in your shell?

Alfred grabs Gex by the throat.

Gex: GACK!! *grabs the vase and bashes Alfred in the head with it.*

Alfred lets go of Gex in pain.

Gex: Looks like it's not just the world, but Rez is using hypnotic power on people to destroy me. How disturbing.. Looks like it's up to me to enter the Media Dimension and defeat Rez! But first.. *turns off the TV, but felt guilty* I'm sorry I had to do this. And now.. *pours water on Alfred, ending the hypnotic effect.* Alfred, better get the television portal ready. I'm going to visit a certain someone at the Media Dimension.

Alfred: Ugh...yes, sir.
Alfred walks up to the television portal and turns it on.

Gex: Look out, Rez, because it's Tail Time!! *enters through the portal, leaving the topic.*

*Gex, Snake, Lucario, and Xtra teleported in.*

Gex: Alfred, we're home!

Alfred is asleep.

Snake: Anyway.. We haev unfinished business to take care of.. Perhaps we'll cross paths one day.

Gex: Alrighty! I'll catch you later!

*Snake and Lucario left.*
