Agrabah is an Arabian city out in the middle of a vast desert. In the giant, grand palace lives the Sultan and his daughter Jasmine. The city thrives with merchants, nearly every street corner a market place. The city itself, however, is in dire need of repair and is filled with poor people the guards often refer to as "street rats".
