Phantasmo Forest (Aura of the Moon)

A mystical forest located in the magical realm. The forest mainly consists of tall cotton wood trees. Inside the forest lives Phantasmal Fairies who may look innocent at first, but are actually mischevious little trouble makers. It's advised that no one enters the forest since the fairies create optical illusions, driving people off the main path.

Phantasal Fairies of different colors appear in different parts of the forest.

Joshua runs into the topic. He stops somewhere on the main path and looks up at the quarter moon.

Joshua: It's... not a full moon? Then how am I-

The pain in Joshua's stomach intensifies and he lurches over in pain. He feels his skin and bones shifting around and his muscles increasing in size. His mouth and nose blend together to form a muzzle. His nails and teeth grow to sharp points. Grey fur starts to grow all over his body and his hair grows in length. He feels a tail growing and quickly pulls it out above his jeans. When his transformation is finished, he stands back up and howls triumphantly at the moon. One major difference he notices is that he has no need to feed.

Werewolf Joshua: What the... the hunger...

Joshua sighs and relaxs against a dogwood tree.

Werewolf Joshua: *Thinking: What's going on? Why am I not hungry? Am I able to control my animalistic nature now?*

*Pikachu is in the topic, just sleeping with a nearby tree.*

Werewolf Joshua sniffs the air and smells Pikachu. His animal insticts start to kick in.

Werewolf Joshua: No! I have to resist!

Joshua grabs his head and starts to fight the urge.

*Pikachu's ears is flicking, as he is waking up.*

Joshua, sadly, loses the fight and his animalistic instincts take control. He licks his chops after getting a long wiff of Pikachu's scent in the air.

Werewolf Joshua: Meat...

Pikachu: Pika?!?!? *jumps away from Joshua and with an nervous look.*

Joshua gets up on all fours and growls at Pikachu.

*Pikachu angirly gets on his fighting stance with electric shocks coming out of his cheeks.*

Werewolf Joshua: Come here little guy, I just want a bite.

Werewolf Joshua leaps towards Pikachu.

Pikachu: Piiikaaa~~ *Uses the attack, Thunderbolt, to shock Joshua* CHUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joshua is knocked into a tree, but he gets back onto all fours and growls at Pikachu. He tackles and bites Pikachu's body. He starts to sink his teeth deeper into Pikachu and doesn't show any sign of letting go. If Pikachu doesn't do anything soon, he will be torn in half.

*Pikachu uses the Thunder attack to shock Joshua again.*

Joshua yelps in pain and lets go of Pikachu.

Meanwhile, Nathaniel runs into the topic and starts looking around.

Nathaniel: JOSHUA!!!

Joshua's ears perk up as he hears Nathaniel's cry.

Werewolf Joshua: Nathaniel...

Meanwhile, in the shadows, Goblins watch as Nathaniel runs down the main path.

Pikachu: Pika??

Werewolf Joshua looks down at the blood on Pikachu and tastes the blood on his lips.

Werewolf Joshua: Oh my god... I can't let him see me like this!

Joshua looks around for a place to hide. He finds a small cave just big enough for him to hide in. He runs and does his best to curl up in a ball. Nathaniel is just down the path from where Joshua was at when all of a sudden the Goblins jump out and surround him.

Nathaniel: What the!?!?

Goblin: Nyeheheheeee!!! Lookie here! Filthy human! Teach him lesson we must for trespassing!

Nathaniel looks down and sees a large branch by his feet. He picks it up and starts swinging at the goblins.

Nathaniel: Stay back!

*Pikachu attempts to save Nathaniel by using Iron Tail on the Goblin.*

The Goblin is knocked into the other goblins.

Goblin: Nyaaaaargh! Pesky rodent! Teach you lesson we will!

Nathaniel: *Thinking: I don't believe it! A real live Pokemon!* You stay away! Now!

Suddenly, a strange blue aura surrounds the branch Nathaniel is holding.

Nathaniel: Huh!?

The stick suddenly transforms into a scythe with a simplistic design: A long pole with a blue sphere at one end and two blades, one longer and larger than the other, coming out of opposite ends of the orb.

Nathaniel: I don't believe it! I'm a... reaper?

Goblin: Nyah! Annoying you are! Grind your bones into dust we will!

The Goblins charge towards Nathaniel and Pikachu. Nathaniel slashes one of the Goblins, defeating it.

Pikachu: Pikkaa!!! *Uses his powerful attack, Volt Tackle, to take down several Goblins.*

Several goblins up in the tree branches drop a net on Pikachu. The net is weighted down with heavy rocks. The goblins surround Nathaniel again. Nathaniel spins around and slices the goblins' legs.

*Pikachu struggles to get free.*

Nathaniel runs past the goblins and cuts Pikachu free.

Nathaniel: *Holds out arm.* Climb on!

*Pikachu gets on Nathaniel's shoulder.*
