Purgatorio (Divina Commedia)

NOTE: I'm basing this off of Dante's Purgatory, hence the Italian name.

Purgatorio is a mountain on an island that consists of Ante-Purgatory, the Valley of Rulers, the Seven Terraces, and the Terrestrial Paradise. (Garden of Eden) Those who have sinned, but repented come here in order to make it to Heaven; sort of like a second chance for sinners to obtain salvation. Each terrace corresponds to a type of sin:

1. Pride
2. Envy
3. Wrath
4. Sloth
5. Avarice and Prodigality
6. Gluttony
7. Lust

Obviously you start at the bottom and must climb up, enduring the punishments of each terrace to the extent of how much you partook in that particular sin. Fun, no?

OOC: THere's Lust under Gluttony as I see on the list. I think you need to write some kind of definitions.
