Dr. Eggman: What forcefield? Knuckles' spell is gone.

Scratch: What? No, we're reading a comic book about it.

Dr. Eggman: Oh.
The claw grabs the ME, but Knuckles wakes up.
Knuckles: HEY! THE MASTER EMERALD!

*Angel Island is falling into the ocean. Scratch and Grounder reels the ME in.*

Scratch: Nyah nyah nya nyah nyah!!

Knuckles: GET BACK HERE!
Knuckles glides onto the claw, which is still retracting back into the Egg Carrier 3. Meanwhile, Tikal and Chaos look around as the island falls.
Tikal: Oh no, not again!

Chao: *holds up a sign, "The End is Near!!!"*

Chaos quickly expands his body into a dome over the Chao, trying to protect them.

Scratch: That rotten echidna is coming at us!! Hey, do something Coconuts!!

Coconuts: Hey, what am I suppose to do?!

Scratch: Just make an inflatable decoy and shut up!!!

*Coconuts makes a inflatable Master Emerald with realtime glowing.*

Knuckles doesn't fall for it, seeing as how he's on the claw which has the real ME.

Grounder: That didn't work.

Knuckles starts slashing the claw.

*Another claw grabs Knuckles and throws him away. The first claw is dragged up to the carrier.*

Knuckles: NO!
The Egg Carrier 3 flies out of the topic, with Knuckles pounding the ground in anger.

Chao: I feel sorry for the red guy.

Knuckles: I'VE GOT TO GET THE MASTER EMERALD BACK!
Voice: Perhaps I can help?
Fang the Sniper then steps out.

*Dramatic music is heard*

Knuckles: Give me one reason why I shouldn't throw you off the island.
Fang: Because I'm the only one who can help you get that emerald back, echidna! And in return, I'll want a portion of it's power my employer...

*The cameraman points at Knuckles*

Knuckles:...Fine. But I'll be watching you...
Fang: Fine by me.

Teensie: But if both of you race for the Emerald, the winner gets it.

Knuckles: I highly doubt either of us would get it alone.

Teensie: Oh there goes my big credibility.

Fang: We better get going, "friend".
Knuckles and Fang leave the topic.

*Kunari lands on the topic and place the Master Emerald on its shrine.*

Knuckles and Fang appear at the shrine as well while the island rises back up.
