Angel Island (Sonic)

The armored figures from New Mobotropolis enter the topic.

Metal Sonic heads into the island's jungle.

OOC: Croshi is inactive for more than 2 weeks.

Diddy Kong: What am I still doing here? *scratches his head.*

A beeper on the normal-sized one's gauntlet... beeps.
"Normal" Figure: Great. The cavalry's here already.
Hedgehog: All that means is we should hurry up the search.
"Normal" Figure: No, all that means is that they'll hunt us down and kill us.

Meanwhile, Metal Sonic gets close to the Master Emerald shrine.

Hedgehog: Well, we'd better find a place on the island to hide.
The armored figures march through the island, unknowingly headed to the Master Emerald shrine.

Meanwhile, at the Master Emerald shrine, Knuckles and Julie-Su are still talking, when a blue blur (as if it isn't obvious who it is) collides into both, sending them flying into the air.
Knuckles: WHAT THE...?!

The armored figures arrive at the Master Emerald shrine.

The blue blur leaps into the air and elbows Knuckles back down to the ground, then kicks Julie-Su a distance away, causing her to land by the armored figures. The blue blur then lands right on Knuckles' chest.
Knuckles: OOF!

The hedgehog grabs Julie-Su by the hand and pulls her up.
Hedgehog: Are you all right, m'am?

Julie-Su: I'll be fine. But what about...
Knuckles is suddenly tossed over to Julie-Su and the armored figures.
Julie-Su: KNUCKLES!
Julie-Su kneels down to Knuckles while Metal Sonic (pretty dang obvious) watches from where Knuckles had landed before.
Metal Sonic: Pathetic. Can't believe he once beat me...

Hedgehog: Well, this looks very, very bad.

Metal Sonic turns towards the armored figures.
Metal Sonic: And you all are...?

Hedgehog: That's none of your concern. Now, why exactly are you attacking these people?

Metal Sonic: Because they were most likely going to stop me from "borrowing" some of that large emerald's power.

Hedgehog: But you're not attacking us, and what's saying we won't?
"Normal" One: We barely know these people.
Hedgehog: That's not going to stop us from helping them.

Metal Sonic: You're welcome to try.

At speeds nearly matching those of Sonic, the hedgehog runs up to Metal Sonic and punches him in the face.

Metal Sonic fires a beam from his chest at the hedgehog, blasting them backwards.

The hedgehog's helmet gets knocked looser.
Hedgehog: Ow.

Metal Sonic charges towards the hedgehog.

The hedgehog leaps into the air and tries to use a homing attack on Metal Sonic.

Metal Sonic uses a homing attack at the same time.

This should cause both hedgehogs to bounce off each other.

Indeed it does. Metal Sonic suddenly pulls out one of his Chaos Rings.
