Hello, I have set up a board on my server and I'm wondering if you all want to move there?
http://colossalcrpg.icean.net/ (about the theme; I think it's better to have a light one, it's more welcoming)

Basically this would mean more possibilities. Why? Well since It's on my server, I have full access it.
Now I have added some elements for the board which will make playing RPG look better (why not take a look?).

Also, since I have full access to the source (which you don't have here at forummotion), I can later add stuff like a character database and such. If you want a chat on the front page? Sure!

Also forummotion say that they have the right to add ads on peoples boards, but that wont happen when I host it.

PS. Everyone will have the same titles there as they to here. So Karasz you'll still be an admin.

If you don't want this it's alright. Then I just delete it.

I love the new ccrpg and everything, but we already like the old one. We can't just replace old with the new.

But this could maybe be an opportunity to fish for even more members, with new features and such. Then put it up on Google and other search engines. I can add a Java IRC (chat) to the site quite easily (just have to edit some code) and then program a database for all characters, which I would implement with the board (this could take some time, and I'm only doing that if you all like the forum). Then people may come with suggestions that will turn CCRPG into the ultimate RPG playing board.
But if you're all perfectly happy here, then there's no need for all that, and then this forum will be the better choice.

You are officially freaking me out. We don't need to be the Ultimate RPG board. I like it the way it is. Besides, we're attracting members from Boo Mansion(Another Fourm Board).

Hehe, thanks. But that's never going to happen since the decision would have to be unanimous amongst all members - because what's a forum without its users?

This is final, the board will never be used and I've officially canceled that project. Anyway, I've now started on something else (or actually re-started on something which I did not finish before, it kinda was forgotten because I did other things).

Btw you said there were going to be ads on the Forummotion verison..I dont see no ads...

I didn't say that they do it now or that they ever will. I said that they have the right to, and it's written in the terms of service document (which you must agree with in order to take part of forummotion) so if they want to, they can start putting ads allover the board and you have nothing to say about it since you agreed with the conditions.

If I remember it right I have actually seen a forummotion board which there was ads on, and they were displayed between random posts by real members.

Also forummotion really limits the access to your PHPBB board. There are lots of functions in an original PHPBB 2.XX/3.XX board that they have removed.
You can't for example install your very own styles (only the ones they have prepared), you can't edit the source, etc. And I did check if you can export topics and such from the database, and no you can't - probably because they don't want you to move away from forummotion into something better.
