The Huntsmaster then tosses the corpse of one of the bats into the room.
Huntsmaster: What now?

Death: This.

Death throws his scythe into the air and starts generating a ball of dark energy in his hands. He aims his hands at the door way and shoots out a barrage of phantom skulls who home in on the Huntsmaster.

The Huntsmaster slices these apart as well.
Huntsmaster: Look, just say you lose and we can save a lot of time.

Shaft: It's almost ready. We need the sacrifice now!

Yoko: Oh no you don't!

Yoko jumps up and attempts to kick Death, but Death easily avoids this. He then makes a hand gesture, some force dragging the Huntsmaster into the room and lifting him into the air.

Huntsmaster: And you didn't do that before because... why?

Death: Isn't it always fun to toy with your enemies?

Huntsmaster: Killing them quickly is way more fun.

Huntsmaster: Now then, are you going to have me hang here, or are you going to do something?

Death: Glad you asked.

The force holding the Huntsmaster suddenly grabs hold of his other ankle and both his wrists, carries him over to the coffin, and holds him above it. Death floats up to the Huntsmaster and chuckles.

Death: You will be a worthy sacrifice...

Shaft continues his chanting while Death prepares to swing his scythe. Yoko intervenes by blasting Death with an ice spell.

Yoko: If what you're saying is true and that is Alexander, then we can't let you kill him!

Death: Foolish mortals. You will not live to see the rebirth of the dark lord!

Death then flies towards Julius's group and swings, but all three members duck. Julius whips Death, sending him back a few feet. Alucard follows up with a slash across Death's ribcage, followed by Yoko blasting Death with a fire spell.

The Huntsmaster watches. The faint sound of someone saying "Ow!" repeatedly can he heard in the distance.

Death retaliates by blasting a phantom skull at the group, causing massive damage and sending them flying into a wall. Julius gets back and charges Death, pulling out an axe and attempting to slash, but Death parries and slashes Julius across the chest.

The Huntsmaster continues watching, wondering what's making the "ow!"s.

Due to their fighting, Death and Julius's group can't hear the "ow!"s. Shaft pulls out a dagger and walks towards the Huntsmaster while chanting.

The "ow!"s start getting louder. As the Huntsmaster was busy listening to them, he hears them above the chanting and fighting.

Shaft stops the chanting and listens.

Shaft: What in the world?

Huntsmaster: I'm slightly confused too.

Shaft: If it's more interlopers who plan on ruining our plan, then they are too late!

Shaft takes the dagger and slits one of the Huntsmaster's wrists and then moves over to the other wrist.

Suddenly, Yorick's skull falls from the sky and lands in the way of Shaft's knife. He should get cut and bleed (don't ask how a skull can bleed).

Shaft looks at the skull and sighs.

Shaft: Yorick, you fool...

Yorick: It's not my *hits ground* OW! *bounces up* fault that my *hits ground again* OW! *bounces up* skull was tossed down a *hits ground* OW! *bounces up* stairway!

Shaft: No, but it is your fault not having the competence to simply bend over and pick up your own skull.

Shaft catches the skull.

Yorick: Hey, bite me.
Meanwhile, the Huntsmaster floats there, bored.

Shaft: Better yet, why don't I just give Cerberus a new chew toy?

In the back ground, the group and Death continue their battle, Death seeming to have the upper hand. Yoko runs towards Shaft, but Death tries to stop her by slashing her. Yoko ducks and slides underneath Death. She attempts to kick Shaft, but passes right through him and kicks Yorick's skull.

Yorick: OW!
Yorick falls out of Shaft's hands and falls into the coffin.

The coffin closes and falls over.

Shaft: You think you can hurt me? I'm a ghost. Physical attacks have no effect on me.

Yoko: Yeah? How about magical attacks?

Shaft: Oh dear...

Yoko attempts to blast Shaft with a fire spell, but a dome surrounds Shaft, protecting him from the blast.
