New Mobotropolis (Sonic the Hedgehog Comic)

"Alex" pulls out a glowing sword and tries to slice through the cage. Surprisingly enough, the sword is far more effective than any hacksaw.

The cage starts sinking underground.

"Alex" slices all the way through the cage bars and leaps up to the surface before the cage can take him underground.

The nanites making up the ground start pulling "Alex" down.

"Alex" electrifies the nanites. Meanwhile, "Misery", seeing that she lacks the power to get the rest of the group (well, at least "Balrog") out of jail, vanishes to look for the free person who can.

The nanites dissolve, but more replace them.

"Alex": You can't win. And now, I exit.
Voice: Oh no, you don't.
"Misery" teleports in front of "Alex".
"Misery": You're not going anywhere until you break the rest of the platoon out. You kind of owe it to us after being the reason we were put in jail in the first place.
"Alex": BITE ME!

NICOLE: I WON'T LET YOU!
A dome of nanites start surrounding both "Alex" and "Misery".

"Alex" does to the nanites what he did to... pretty much every other nanite that was in his way.
"Misery": As I was saying... Do it.
"Alex": No.
"Misery": That wasn't an offer.
A magical wind whips up and blows "Alex"'s hair over to the other eye. Alex quickly looks at the ground so the previously covered eye is unrevealed.

NICOLE looks around for a way to stop the two.

"Alex": All work and no play makes Xander a dull boy... All work and no play makes Xander a dull boy...
"Alex" (who is apparently named Xander) laughs creepily.

NICOLE stares at Xander.

Xander stares up at NICOLE, revealing that his eye is large and pupilless. He then continues his insane laughter as visions of pain and destruction fill NICOLE's head, meant to weaken her mental defenses.

NICOLE falls onto her knees, rubbing her head.

The message "release all the prisoners" gets projected into NICOLE's head through the power of 'Psycho Xander''s eye. Several times.

OOC: That's not his real, other-eye name. It's still just Xander.

NICOLE screams as the cells in the prison open up.

The High Platoon and the rest of the prisoners rush out as the message stops going into NICOLE's mind.

NICOLE collapses.

Xander: Who can take a rainbow... wrap it in a sigh...
Xander laughs crazily as "Misery" quickly moves the hair back over before he can do anything stupid(er) and the High Platoon regroups.

NICOLE stays where she is.

"Alex": Well, the last plan of attack didn't really work well.
AF 2: Mostly due to you.
"Alex": CAN IT! Anyway, I have a plan.
AF 2: If it's anything like your last plan, we're doomed.

NICOLE just groans.

The High Platoon leaves the topic, "Alex" whispering his plan to them.

Sonic re-enters the topic and sees NICOLE on the ground.
Sonic: Wha...? NICOLE!
Sonic runs up to NICOLE, who starts to get back up.
Sonic: Are you alright?
NICOLE: I'll...I'll be fine.
Sonic: What happened?
NICOLE: The purple-haired turtle in the High Platoon broke out and did something to me with his eye...forced me to free the other members...
Sonic: Just our luck. They're probably long gone by now. Well, I know you're an artifical intelligence and everything, but try to get some rest, NICOLE.
NICOLE nods and vanishes.
