Staramado (UMS)

<Valkyrie> Well, that was pointless...
<Velvet> Yeah, but what about Lava and Bahamut? They're in danger, too!
Domino took her GPDS out of her pocket. She inputted Lava's GPDS code, and his location popped up. She added Bahamut's GPDS code, and it was at the same location as Lava's.
<Domino> Well, let's take the alternate path to them, just to avoid running into that guy.
So they take a path to Lava and Bahamut different from what The Ranger took.

The Ranger is in a tree near Lava and Bahamut, stealthily observing their movements.

Bahamut felt uneasy.
<Bahamut> ...Do you get the feeling that we're being stalked...?
Eventually, Fenrir appeared, much to Lava's and Bahamut's surprise. Then Valkyrie, Domino, and Velvet followed.
<Lava> Oh, hi! Did you find the bomb?
<Domino> It was just a dud.
<Lava> Buh??
<Valkyrie> Right now, the real threat is that Koopa, who seems intent on hunting us down.

Suddenly, The Ranger and five clones leap out of the trees to surround the group.

Lava, Domino, Bahamut, Valkyrie, Velvet, and Fenrir huddled back-to-back in defensive stances, ready to counter whatever attack he sends at them.

The Rangers circle the Staramadans.

The six get ready to anticipate The Ranger clones' strikes.

The Rangers leap into the air and come down, blade first, towards the Staramadan closest to them.

All six Staramadans dashed away from this attack and tackled into the nearest Ranger clone from different sides.

The Rangers quickly dash to the side and try to tackle the Staramadans.

The Staramadans jump away in different directions and resume their defensive states.

The Rangers quickly charge at the Staramadans from different directions.

Lava called down the Meteor that he sent into space. He cast a Barrier around himself and his five comrades, and the Meteor collided into The Ranger clones, setting off a giant magic shockwave.

The Ranger clones all leap over the shockwave.

Just then, a shadow energy field enveloped the area that surrounded The Rangers and the Staramadans, trapping all within with no escape.

The Rangers show no hint of surprise on their faces.

Everything within the shadow energy field fills with a light power that decimates everything within it--except the Staramadans, for some reason.

The Rangers are damaged, but not badly.

The shadow energy field remained after that attack, but then grew a bit.
<Bahamut> I wonder who...?
Just then, in teleported Anubis IV.
<Lava> Oh! What brings you here?
<Anubis IV> That can wait after this, can't it? Seeing as this guy's giving you trouble and all.
Anubis IV joins with the Staramadans to fight The Ranger clones.

OOC: So he trapped himself in the field with no escape? I'm sure in Staramado, that's logical.

IC:

The Ranger clones dodge the nondescript attacks that I assume the Staramadans used and use some of their own to fight back.

<OOC> No, he trapped the area in there to kinda restrict the area in which The Ranger can flee in.

...Seeing as they haven't yet attacked, this proves fruitless on The Rangers' haxful end. Anubis IV and the Staramadans are still in a counter-ready position.

The Ranger (the real one) tosses a blue pellet to the ground. It erupts into smoke and spawns another The Ranger clone. All of them run like mad around the area.

Anubis IV raises the height of the shadow energy field to double, on request from Fenrir.
<Fenrir> OK, hang onto something!
Fortunately, some trees were left standing from the light decimation attack, so the gang held onto that. Fenrir then howled the Ballad of Gales, causing the wind inside the field to swirl about, whipping up into a tornado. His allies held tightly to the tree. The tornado swirled harder and harder. Fenrir kept still by turning into a statue.

The Rangers leap onto everyone hanging onto the trees and toss them off.

Anubis IV blocked The Rangers back with another shadow barrier and tore right through them like a phantom.
