Kaa turns to the knight and starts hypnotizing it.

Lacy: Oh no you don't!

Lacy jumps at Kaa and slashes him.

Kaa hisses in pain, then turns to Lacy.

Viladek materializes her scythe and slams it into Kaa's tail.

Kaa twists itself around and bites Viladek.

Viladek enters shy-mode, and the attack takes no effect.

Kaa goes to the last knight and swallows it whole.

Viladek chops off Kaa's tail.

As a result, Joziel goes sliding out of Kaa's rear end, but right after, Kaa's tail regenerates. More pink smoke starts coming out of an open manhole.

Viladek blows it away.

More of the smoke comes as Kaa slithers down the open manhole (it's a wonder that Kaa can fit), disappearing out of the topic in the smoke.

Viladek covers the Manhole.

This achieves nothing.

But the pink smoke stops.

If you were to open the manhole cover, you would discover that the pink smoke started disappearing when Kaa did, and is now already gone.

Viladek removes the cover.

Indeed, the pink smoke is gone.

Lacy runs over to Lacy and kneels down.

Lacy: Joziel! Are you okay?

Joziel: ... I was eaten by a giant snake. Do you think I'm okay?

Lacy: Oh thank goodness...

Lacy and Joziel stand back up and walk over to the pile of junk on Sun of a Gun.

Joziel: So what should we do with this thing?

Lacy: ... It helped us, so I think it's only fair we take it back to the sanctuary with us.

Joziel: Alright.

Joziel easily lifts Sun of a Gun onto her back.

Viladek floats over to the two.

Viladek: What, I don't get a thank you, Joziel?

Joziel rolls her eyes.

Lacy: I think we should leave now.

Lacy looks at a group of displeased Magillians.

Viladek: Well, you're welcome.

Meanwhile...

Karana has learned Light and Fire Magic. She closes the book. The trio leaves the topic.

Meanwhile, Sal is still in the hospital.

Lacy and Joziel carrying Sun of a Gun run out of the topic.

Viladek follows.

The civillians go back to their business.

Meanwhile, in Magillia Palace, King Magarmos XIV is sitting on his throne, listening to a request from a civillian.

Civillian: You see your majesty, we need to have some sort of protection against these random attacks! The people can't take it anymore, especially when the Reapers are involved!

King Magarmos XIV: I'll see what the wizards in the Arcane Towers can do.

Civillian: Thank you your majesty. *Leaves.*

King Magarmos sighs.

Guardian Knight: Is there a problem your majesty?

King Magarmos XIV: No, no, it's just... I need to rest. I'll be up in my royal chambers.

Guardian Knight: Yes sir.

King Magarmos leaves the throne and starts to climb stairs inside a grand tower. He reaches and enters his chamber. He closes the door behind him and sighs.

King Magarmos XIV: If only I had a son who'm I can depend on to take the throne once I am gone...
