Main Street (Aura of the Moon)

This street is Nathaniel and Joshuas' childhood neighborhood. This is also where their parents were killed in am alleged accidental house fire. Only humans can enter this topic.

A green van drives into the topic and stops just outside a two story house coated wtih sky blue paint. Nathaniel steps out of the passenger side door while Joshua steps out of the driver's side door. Nathaniel and Joshua look up at the house with smiles on their faces.

Joshua: This is it. Our new home.

Nathaniel: I can't believe they built the house over our old house. I just hope I don't get visited by the ghosts of our parents.

Joshua: Nathaniel, don't talk about our parents that way!

Nathaniel: What? I don't want to be visited by ghosts while I'm trying to sleep!

Joshua: Just get your things and lets go inside.

Joshua reaches into the van and pops the van's trunk. Nathaniel walks around and tries to pull out a case from beneath the bottom of a pile of luggage. He manages to get the case out... but the pile falls on top of him.

Joshua: What was that?

Nathaniel: *Muffled: Nothing.*

A bus drives into the topic and drops off Nate "Sparky" Wilson, then drives off.

Joshua: How many times do I have to tell you to start from the top?

Nathaniel: *Muffled: That's what she said!*

Joshua kicks the pile of luggage, satisfied upon hearing an oof.

Sparky, bored, walks around Main Street.

Joshua sees Sparky.

Joshua: Excuse me, are you lost?

Sparky: The bus driver certainly was.
Sparky pulls out his road map and looks at it.
Sparky: I was SUPPOSED to be let out at Riverside so I could meet the babes, but "turn left" apparently means "turn right" in bus driver speak.

Joshua: Riverside? *Scratches head.* I don't think it's around here. Why don't you come inside with us?

Nathaniel: *Muffled: And help us with our luggage.*

Sparky puts up the road map.
Sparky: Why not?
Sparky sticks out his hand, expecting a shake.
Sparky: Name's Nate Wilson. Call me Sparky.

Joshua: *Shakes Sparky's hand.* My name is Joshua Amnott, but you can call me Josh. My little brother stuck under the luggage is named Nathaniel.

Nathaniel: *Muffled: I think one of the bags forced one of my ribs to puncture a lung.*

Joshua sighs and starts to organize some of the luggage.

Sparky also helps organize the luggage.

Several luggages later, the two have succesfully helped Nathaniel out from beneath the pile.

Nathaniel: I can breath again!

Joshua punches Nathaniel on the back of his head, causing a large bump to swell up.

Nathaniel: WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT FOR!?!?

Joshua: Just shut up and help us with the luggage!

Nathaniel and Joshua start carrying two cases at a time into the house. Nathaniel mumbles something under his breath.

Sparky: I can tell you're great friends.
Sparky also brings luggage into the house, two cases at a time.

Joshua: We're brothers. What did you expect?

Joshua and Nathaniel put their cases near the stairs. Nathaniel runs out of the house to get two more while Joshua waits inside.

Sparky also sets the luggage down and heads inside.

Joshua: Yeah, I think Nathaniel can handle the rest of the luggage. So how far away is Riverside supposed to be from here?

Sparky pulls out the road map again and measures the distance. When he gets from Main Street to Riverside, his eyes widen in shock and amazement.

Joshua: Another state distance, or...

Sparky: A thousand miles. Amazing how far off a right turn gets you, isn't it?

Joshua sighs.

Joshua: I suppose you can spend the night with us. We have a guest room.

Nathaniel walks into the house, carrying a cage.

Sparky: Thanks a lot, Josh!

Joshua: No problem.

Nathaniel: Alright, she's inside. Close the door.

Joshua does so as Nathaniel sets the cage down near the stairs.

Sparky: Um... "she"?

Nathaniel: Yeah, you might want to back up a bit.

Nathaniel readies to open the cage door.

Sparky does so.
