Manstein Manor (Aura of the Moon)

A manor that resides in a forest several miles away from Main Street. Maria's Aunt currently owns the manor. It is said that the manor is cursed and all that live in it will suffer a terrible fate, but Maria's Aunt doesn't believe in such stories.

Maria drives her car into the topic and does her best to keep her hold on the steering wheel.

Maria: *Thinking: What is going on around here!? Why are there so many monsters popping up all of a sudden!?*

Maria stops her car in front of the gate and looks at a small computer screen on the side of a post. The computer screen flickers and the image of an old butler suddenly appears.

Butler: Who is it?

Maria: It's me Carlton. Maria.

Carlton: Miss Maria! I didn't recognize you! My, how you have grown! I'll open up the gates right away!

The image flickers and the computer screen goes into standby. The gates start to open up and Maria hurriedly drives her car onto the premise. Awaiting at the door of the large mansion is Carlton. Maria gets out of her car and walks up to Carlton.

Carlton: Miss Maria! May I say it is an honor to see you again?

Maria: It's nice to see you again, too, Carlton. Where is my aunt?

Carlton: Inside. She is unaware that you just arrived.

Carlton takes Maria inside.

*Homer drives in after being drunk from a nearby bar. He crashed into the manor*

Homer: *drunk* Uuuh.... How's my drivin' Granny? Wooooo...

But this can't happen since the only way to the manor is through the front gate and that would mean Homer would have to crash into the gates.

*Oh, then that's true then.*

Homer: *sobers up* Man, where am I?

Maria walks into one of the large living rooms and sees her aunt relaxing on the couch.

Maria: Hi Aunt Madeline.

Aunt Madiline: !?!? *Looks up.* Maria! My sweet Maria! It is so good to see you, my dear! How are you?

Maria: Not good Aunt Madeline. Main Street has been covered in darkness and there are monsters.

Aunt Madeline: ... Do you hear the words coming out of your mouth, child?

Maria: I'm serious! Look! *Turns the massive wide screen TV on.*

Female News Reporter: In related news, we still have no idea how the light around Main Street has disappeared. Here is a current look of Main Street.

Aunt Madeline: ... So... were you there.

Maria: Yes. I was surprised I managed to survive. I got slashed and attacked several times!

Aunt Madeline: Oh you poor dear! Here, let me take you to bed.

Aunt Madeline takes Maria out of the living room and into a massive bedroom.

Homer: Man, I gotta get this car fixed first.. Oh well. Not my problem. *walks out of the topic.*

Aunt Madeline: Now you stay here and rest up. You've had an awful day.

Maria: Yeah...

Aunt Madeline leaves the bedroom. After she left, Maria walks over to one of the windows and looks out in the general direction of Main Street.

Maria: *Sigh.* Joshua... where are you?

*Homer arrives as he is coming for his Family Sedan.*

Homer: Hey, it's not even towed yet!

Carlton: *From computer terminal.* Sir, I'm going have to ask you to leave.

Homer: Oh yeah? You and what army?

Carlton: Then I'm afraid I'm going to have to call the authorities.

Homer: I just want to get my car out of here so I can have it repaired, Mr. Stubborn Butler.

Carlton: So it was you who drove your car into our wall. Then that means we get to sue you.

Homer: AHH! Please don't sue! I can make things better for your wall!!

Carlton: then fix it. *Screen shuts off.*

*Homer pushes the car off and fixes the wall.*

Homer: There, all--

*THe wall crumbles. It needs cement.*

Homer: D'OH!! *taps the screen.* Uh.. Butler guy? Can you get some cement here? Hello?

No response.

*A nearby cement truck is ahead.*

Homer: Cement truck eh...? *pulls out a banana and eats it.* He he he he he he!! *throws the banana peel at the road.*

*The Cement Truck slips on the banana and uncontrollably slides and crashes into the tree. The truck driver dies.*

Homer: Heh heh heh. Now to get me the cement.

*Homer uses the cement to fix the wall*

Homer: And the best part is, nobody will ever know.

Homer's Brain: What about the driver you just killed?

Homer: I'll blame it on forest critters.

The intercom turns back on.

Carlton: I say, you must be dreadfully parched from working on the wall.

Homer: Yeah, I'm tired.. It's making my hands bleed from all this!

The steel gates open.

Carlton: Come in. I'll offer you some refreshments and see if I can get you a place to rest. *Intercom turns off.*

Homer: Oooh! Refreshments! *goes through the gate and enters the mansion.*

Carlton is standing in the middle of the foyer with a tray which has a glass of ice tea and a pitcher of tea on it.

Homer: *Sniffs the aroma.* Ooh, tea! *sits down.* Don't think we have met before, but my name's Homer J. Simpson, safety inspector of the nuclear power plant.
