The Great Sea (LoZ: Wind Waker)

Thanks to the magic of the Lethe, Charon hears this from the captain's cabin, then disappears. Meanwhile...
Voice behind Tetra: My outfit, Madam?
Charon appears behind Tetra.
Charon: You will forgive me for not taking the time to learn how pirates speak. Too busy claiming their souls and all.

<Tetra> Yeah, we're not interested in losing our souls. We're just here to get rid of the Hand of Midas.

Chiron: The Hand of Midas? Oh, you don't need to worry about us, then. We're after a different prize entirely.
Chiron teleports back to the Lethe.

<Tetra> Oh. Well, we're almost there. Let's get ready.

The pirate ship landed at the shores of the Isle of Midas. Tetra and Toon Link hopped out and headed towards the cove.

The Lethe docks on the Isle of Midas shores as Chiron, a large skeleton wearing a Cyclops (from X-Men) visor, and two other skeletons in acrobat clothing leap out of said ship.

Past the cave's entrance, there are jet-fire traps. They go on and off at set intervals. Tetra and Toon Link moved past each jet-fire as they went off. Eventually, they reached the other side and went deeper into the cave.

Something underwater seems to be following the Black Pearl.

Charon easily floats past/through the traps as the skeleton and acrobats do some acrobatic moves that I'm too lazy to describe and get past.

In the next chamber, there are many staircases in a rising and sinking flood.
<Tetra> There's gotta be a way across. According to the map, to get deeper, we have to go in the north door...but it's caught under that flood no matter what!
Then they see a platform floating on the water.
<Tetra> That'll do.
Tetra and Toon Link hop onto the platform, and paddle it towards one staircase, where a drainage switch is. They wait for the flood to rise to the staircase.

Charon and the skeletons enter the room and, being undead, go under the water without anything bad happening to them.

In the next chamber that Tetra and Toon Link enter, the door locks behind them, as well as the one on the other side, with no chance of opening up. (You know what I mean, Alex.)
<Tetra> What do you think this means...?
Toon Link shrugged in confusion.

Then, two Stalfos fall in, wielding their clubs. They come at Tetra and Toon Link.
<Tetra> Uh-oh!
<Toon Link> Ack!!
One Stalfos comes near and swings its club around and around, moving towards the two heroes. Tetra jumps onto its head and knocks onto its skull.
<Tetra> Hey bonehead! Up here!

Meanwhile, Charon and co. arrive outside the door Ghost King Midas is behind.

The Stalfos with Tetra on its head was flailing about, trying to shake her off, in vain. The other Stalfos saw Tetra, and swung its club at her. Not only did it nick her off, but it whacked the Stalfos's head off.
<Tetra> Phew. What numbskulls.
Toon Link threw a lit bomb into the loose Stalfos head, blasting it to smithereens. With that, the rest of the Stalfos's body crumbled away. From its remains appeared a glass orb. The other Stalfos was shocked. Tetra whipped out a bomb and hurled it into this Stalfos's body. It exploded, busting the Stalfos apart. The head hopped about.
<Tetra> Hey, come back!
Tetra chased the head, and struck it with her dagger, splitting its head open. Toon Link finished with a downwards stab into the head, destroying it. After that, the doors unlocked. Toon Link and Tetra collected the two glass orbs from the Stalfos and went deeper in through the door on the other side.

Finally, after half and hour of puzzle-solving, Tetra and Toon Link enter the chamber, where atop a pedestal lays the Golden Hand of Midas.
Tetra: Alright. Let's finish this.
Tetra and Toon Link whipped out their arrows and aimed at the Hand, ready to send it sinking into the crushing oblivion of the deep sea around it.

The room starts shaking, but instead of a really scary big boss type thing, the Ghost King Midas appears in between Link and Tetra.

Tetra takes a step back hesitantly. Toon Link almost yelps. In any case, they get into a battle stance.

Midas: ... What? Do I look like I'm going to attack or something like that?

Tetra eased up a bit.
Tetra: Erm...guess not.

Outside of the CCRPG universe, sitting at a laptop is Lava's maker, Mr. Author.
Mr. Author: (But I AM being cautious around your characters.)

Midas: Let me guess. You're here for the Hand of Midas?
