The Floating Island (Cave Story)

Alex: No. Morbul's going to move that eventually. Until then, I think we should go back to base and be better prepared.
Curly: Then this is where we part ways. We have to stay on the island and protect the Mimigas.
John: In that case, it was nice working with you.
Misery: Our schedule's free, though. And we kind of do owe the turtle one.
Alex mutters something about how he's a Koopa, not a turtle.
Misery: So we'll just follow you guys.

Aya: Then back to the base.

Merloco: WHOA!!! Where the hell were you!?

Aya: I was forgotten...

Merloco: ... Right...

Alex: GAH! It's like an episode of X-Men: The Animated Series!

The White Platoon (which now includes Balrog and Misery) leaves the topic while Curly and Quote go back to the Mimiga Village.

My characters leave as well.

Somewhere on the island, a portal starts opening.

*The Mimigas spotted the portal.*

OOC: If it's the one that just appeared, it should be "the portal", not "a portal".

OOC: Fixed.

Quote and Curly also spot the portal.

The Suppression Squad step out of the portal.

Quote and Curly point Machine Guns at them.

Scourge runs up to Quote and Curly, grabs the machine guns, then runs back.
Scourge: We just arrived and people are already trying to kill us! Sheesh.

An exclamation point appears over Quote's head.
Curly: Well, quite frankly, you look evil.

Scourge: So what? If someone who was about to give world peace looked evil, would you attack them?

Curly: You do have a good point...
The exclamation mark over Quote's head disappears and he reaches for something in Hammerspace.

Scourge: But yeah, we are evil.

Quote just pulled out a copy of a Sonic the Hedgehog comic showing Scourge doing evil and stuff, but by now it's meaningless, so he puts it away.
Curly: Well... could you go away?

Scourge: Nah. We're here to cause desctruction and that sort of thing. As a king, it's my duty.

Curly: I thought kings did the exact opposite.

Scourge: Considering we're from a reverse dimension...

Curly: Point taken.
Curly uses magnets in her hands to yank back her machine gun and fire at Scourge while Quote does the same thing.

Scourge runs out of the way as Boomer shoots green energy circles at the two.

The robots leap into the air to dodge and use the machine gun's kickback to hover in the air while firing straight down at the Supression Squad.

The Suppression Squad members are hit, but start scattering.

The Mimigas run into their homes and lock the doors. Meanwhile, Curly and Quote land and fire at various members of the Supression Squad.
