Black Forest and Montecello Manor

The Black Forest is a dark and sinister forest full of malevolent spirits whose lives were put to an abrupt end in various ways... none of which being pleasant. Stay on the path if you want to live, for there are rumors that witches and other beings also inhabit the forest, and wait for unsuspecting prey to become lost so that they can cast a horrific curse on them.

Near the end of the forest lies a large and terrifying mansion adorned with gargoyles, tombstones, and other types of gothic decor. This manor was once owned by the late Count Monecello, but is now inhabited by Cassandra, who was once his cook. The inside of the mansion is just as creepy as the outside, and boasts of many rooms, towers, stairways, and secret passages. Main points of intrest are the Foyer, the Grand Sitting Room, the Master Kitchen, and the Music Room; each of which are on the first floor as Cassandra allows no one on any of the other floors, including the basement.

Cassandra enters her manor and goes down to the cellar to can some ingredients.

OOC: What kind of ingrediants she got? I know she has black cat's tongue and eyes of the newts.

OOC: Elderberries, toad sweat, snake's venom, etc, and of course, certain essences. Why do you ask?

*Bubblun and Bobblun came.*

OOC: You said "essences" right?

OOC: Certain ones, of course, most ingredients are essences of sorts... and please specify whether they are in the forest or her house.

IC:

Cassandra is still in the basement when she notices she is all out of black cat's tounge.

OOC: They're in the forest.

The forest is very dark, and there are ominous howls that can be heard from the shadows.

Bubblun: I knew we should've gone to a less dangerous place.

A large wolf jumps out from the bushes and bites Bob.

Bobblun: OWW!!

Bubblun: Hey! Lay off my brother! *Blows fire at the wolf.*

The wolf dodges and tries to claw Bub.

*Bubblun blows bubbles at the wolf.*

The wolf is hit this time but gets back up and leaps toward the two brothers when all of the sudden he falls back to the ground and howls in pain.

Bubblun: Bobblun, are you alright?

*Bobblun isn't saying anything.*

Bubblun: Oh no!! Bob!

An old toad woman dressed from head to toe in black rushes over to to Bob and inspects his wounds.

Old Woman: *gasps* Madonna in cielo!

Bubblun: *to the old woman* Can you help me save my brother??

Old Woman: Si, si, but you must follow me! *she hands Bub a cloak* Drape this over you brother, and carry him into my house, adesso!

The old woman rushes through the forest into her manor.

*Bub does so to Bob. He takes him to the manor.*

It's a good thing too, because there is a full moon overhead...

The Old Woman helps Bub bring Bob into her kitchen and she puts him into a large wine cask. She pours some water into the cask, but it is all needed.

Old Woman: Now... wolfbane and mighty tonic...

The woman disapears into a cloud of purple smoke and repears with a vial full of red liquid and some vitamin water.

Old Woman: You brother has been bitten by the lupo mannaro, and to be saved by the lupo in this forest is very rare, for the moon is always high and full. The water in the cask is holy water, and will make my job much easier.

The woman starts to cook the ingredients into a deep red-purple liquid and puts it inside a seringe.

Old Woman: Show me the wound.

Bubblun: It's on his arm... Hey, who are you anyway?

Old Woman: You can call me Cassandra.

Cassandra takes the seringe and points it at Bob's arm.

Cassandra: Now this will hurt, but keeping this way would only be worse.

She plunges the seringe into his arm, and injects the liquid.

Putting the seringe aside, she grabs her staff and raises it over Bob. The entire room goes dark with the exception of a reddish light around Cassandra. With her eyes closed she starts shouting what sounds like a prayer in an odd language in a commanding voice.

When she is finished, the lights come back on and Cassandra lowers her staff.

Cassandra: AWAKEN YOUNG CHILD, ANEW!

*Bobblun wakes up*

Bobblun: AHH! *pants exhaustedly.* Oh man... I was having a nightmare...

Bubblun: Bro! You're alive!

Cassandra doesn't smile, but of course she never does. In fact, if one were to really look at her face it is forever saddened and drained all of all color.

Cassandra: Now that that is settled, why were you two in the forest?

Bubblun: Well, we were collecting some essenses. I think we're developing a new hobby.
