Main Street (Future/Aura of the Moon)

This is the Main Street of the future.

It's night time on Main Street, and Werewolf Joshua and Maria are walking down the street from the park with their five year old son, Leon.

Maria: Did you enjoy your time at the park, dear?

Leon: Yes mommy!

Werewolf Joshua: Good, because as soon as we get home, you're going to bed.

Leon: Aww, do I have to?

Maria: You need your rest, sweety.

Leon: Okay...

OOC: O_O; A child soon-to-be werewolf?

OOC: Five-year olds aren't babies. >_>

Nathaniel appears out of dark portal that formed in the Amnott Residence. He looks around and smiles.

Nathaniel: Doesn't look like they are home yet.

As soon as Nathaniel finished his sentence, he hears the front door opening and closing. He turns and sees Werewolf Joshua and Maria with surprised expressions while Leon has a wide grin on his face.

Leon: Uncle Nathaniel! *Runs towards him.*

Nathaniel: Leon! *Kneels down and gives him a hug.*

Werewolf Joshua: Hey Nathaniel. Weren't expecting you to be here, especially at this time.

Nathaniel: Yeah, well I got tired of working in the sanctuary and wanted to see my family. *Ruffles Leon's hair.*

Leon: Uncle, did you bring me gift?

Nathaniel: Huh? Oh, uh, no, sorry Leon. I was in too much of a stump to bring anything at the time.

Leon: Awww...

*Meanwhile, Future Hal and Jeff are in a retirement home.*

Hal: Jeff, if only we were young again, we could still kick Mario's butt.. *coughs*

Jeff: What??

OOC: Jeff is deaf.

Hal: I said...

Jeff: WHERE'S MY MONKEY IN A TIE?!

Werewolf Joshua: Alright Leon, off to bed.

Leon: Oookay. Night Dad. *Hugs Werewolf Joshua.* Night Mom. *Maria kneels down and kisses Leon on the forehead.* Night Uncle Nathaniel! I hope you are around when I wake up.

Nathaniel: We'll see.

Leon marches up stairs and into the room that was Nathaniel and Joshua's old room but now is his and climbs into bed. Nathaniel smiles and sighs before sitting down on the comforter. Werewolf Joshua sits down on the couch while Maria sits on his lap.

Werewolf Joshua: So how did you get away from the sanctuary this time?

Nathaniel: I had a little help from... dad.

Werewolf Joshua: ??? Really? He actually had the time to come down and help you?

Nathaniel: He thought I needed a break.

Werewolf Joshua: Ah.

Nathaniel: So what has been up with the family?

Maria Not much, but...

Nathaniel: ... But what?

Werewolf Joshua: Maria has been worried lately about Leon.

Nathaniel: About the werewolf thing?

Maria: Yes...

Nathaniel: ... Well, from what I read in the Sanctuary's Library, the curse can be passed down from generation to generation, but there are rare cases where the curse skips the child and jumps to their offspring.

Maria: How can we tell if Leon has the curse?

Nathaniel: I think it has to do with whether or not he has birthmark. If it looks exactly like the wound inflicted on Joshua and is located in the same spot, then he may have the curse.

Maria looks down in disappointment, but Joshua rubs her back, trying to comfort her. She looks back up and smiles at Joshua.

Maria: It will be okay. I don't care what he is, he is still my son.

Werewolf Joshua: I think I heard something similar to that. *Looks at Nathaniel.*

Nathaniel smirks and shrugs his shoulder, pretending he has never heard it before.

Hal: Nurse? Where is my medication?

Jeff: What? I can't hear ya! You talkin' about hot chicks?

Hal: No! Man, you're just as stupid as Steve.

Jeff: Thanks! I do look smart.

Hal: ...

Werewolf Joshua: *Yawns.* I think we should go to bed, honey.

Maria: Yeah. Where are going to sleep tonight, Nathaniel?

Nathaniel: I was thinking I could go to Magillia and sleep in the inn.

Werewolf Joshua: Okay then.

The brothers get up and give each other a hug.

Werewolf Joshua: It was good seeing you while it lasted. Thanks for giving us the info we needed.

Nathaniel: You're welcome, Josh. It was good to come back home and I hope you two have a good night.

Nathaniel gets up, walks out of the house and topic. Maria sighs before getting up herself and walking into her room. Werewolf Joshua alks in after her.

Werewolf Joshua: Honey, it will be okay. If it comes to it, I can teach him how to control it.

Maria: It's not that, Joshua, it's just...

Werewolf Joshua: It will be okay. *Hugs Maria.*

*The moon is full. Jeff is too stubborn to sleep.*

Werewolf Joshua notices the light of the moon shining into the room and does his best to avoid it.

Werewolf Joshua: Uh, Maria, I'm going to slepp in the basement tonight.

Maria: Huh? But... *Looks through the window and sees the full moon.* Oh, alright. Be quick, Joshua.

Werewolf Joshua bounds out of the room and makes his way into the basement. Now that he is in a room with no light, he sighs and locks the door to the basement just incase.

*The clouds cover the moonlight.*

Werewolf Joshua plans on staying in the basement until morning.

*The next day...*

Werewolf Joshua wakes up and looks down at his furry body.

Werewolf Joshua: Oh yeah...

He walks up the stairs leading to the basement door and unlocks the door. As he steps out of the basement, the morning sunlight washes over him through the windows, making him revert back to his human form.

Joshua: That's better.

Joshua walks into the kitchen in his loose fitting clothes, expecting to see his family. Instead, he sees a note with his name on it on the table. He picks the note up and starts reading the folded side.

Joshua,

Left Leon at your Aunt's house for the day. Going to be clothes shopping. Be sure to be wearing something formal by the time I get back.

Joshua: Clothes shopping? Something formal? Why would she-

It suddenly dawns on Joshua.

Joshua: Oooooohhh. *Smirks and chuckles.* I just hope she gets my right size this time, otherwise I might as well be naked this night.

Filler appears and reads the note, then is arrested for breaking and entering.

*Another filler appears and start laughing at the first.*

Hal: I thought it was supposed to be drama.

Jeff: WHAT? WHO'S OBAMA?! THE PRESIDENT THAT WAS DEFEATED?!

OOC: You don't know that yet, Karasz. >.>

It is night time once again and due to the moon being past full, Joshua relaxes and lets his transformation take place. Around 9 o' clock, Maria walks into the house, carrying bags of groceries and clothes and wearing a fance red dress.

Werewolf Joshua: *Walks up to Maria and tries to hug her, but Maria motions him not to.* Eh, welcome back home honey.

Maria: Hmm... *Walks into the kitchen and sets the bags down. Werewolf Joshua follows her.*

Werewolf Joshua: What's wrong? Isn't tonight that "special" night? *Smirks.*

Maria: It is, but... I think we should just eat and discuss something.

Werewolf Joshua: *Perks up his ears.* What are we going to discuss?

Maria: I'll tell you during dinner.

Werewolf folds his ears back in disappointment.

Werewolf Joshua: ... Maybe I can help you make dinner?

Maria: No, I've got it. Just sit down and relax.

Werewolf Joshua walks into the living room and growls to himself "Well how am I supposed to relax if I don't know what we are going to talk about tonight?"
