Knuckles gets back up, Julie-Su supporting him.
Knuckles: Ugh...what happened exactly?

"Scourge": You were attacked by a robot.

Knuckles: And where did he go?

"Scourge": I have no idea.
"Scourge" puts his helmet back on.

Julie-Su: It was Metal Sonic, Knuckles.
Knuckles: Why that little...wait a minute, just who are you guys?

"Scourge": As a group, we are referred to as Lowborn. It has nothing to do with us in particular, it just means we oppose the High Men.

Knuckles: And who are the High Men?

Hedgehog Lowborn: They'd like to think they are a superior race, but don't be fooled. They are evil, all of them, and some of them have come over here to track us down and kill us.

Julie-Su: They want to kill you just because they think they're a superior race?

Hedgehog: No. They enslaved everyone in their dimension first. We rebelled, and the price of that is death.

Julie-Su: That's horrible!
Knuckles: Maybe we could help you guys out?

Hedgehog: If you think you can. But the High Platoon was sent after us and will be here any minute, so if you get scared of them and decide not to help, I'd understand.

Knuckles: Don't worry. We'll take 'em down!
Julie-Su stops supporting Knuckles, who stands up by himself.

"Scourge" smiles beneath his armor.
"Scourge": Nice to know we've got at least some people on our side.

Knuckles: I don't think we've even been introduced yet. I'm Knuckles, and this is Julie-Su.
Julie-Su: Hello.

"Scourge": The name is Mach.
"Normal" One: Samson. The reptilian is Kirira.
Big one: GAAAAAMMMMM. (Gamm)
Little one: The name's KO. DON'T LAUGH! I picked the name myself! You got a problem with it? Huh? Huh? Do ya?
Mach: My apologies. KO has issues.

Knuckles: Well, it's nice to meet all of you.

Mach: Likewise.

The armored figures (the High Platoon) from New Mobotropolis arrive on Angel Island.

A random Caterkiller watches the High Platoon.

AF 4 pulls out a handheld radar and scans the island.

The Caterkiller slides towards the High Platoon.

One of the larger members of the High Platoon accidentally steps on the Caterkiller, squishing it and making a loud cracking noise.

Caterkiller: I just...wanted...to sell you...chocolate...
The Caterkiller finally dies.

AF 4 finishes the scan.
AF 4: The Lowborns are here, all right. Follow me.
AF 4 heads in the general direction of the Master Emerald shrine, the rest of the High Platoon following.
