The Floating Island (Cave Story)

Quote pulls out his blade and the ghost of King appears, slashing all around Quote and knocking Galleom off.

Galleom tries to bodyslam Quote.

Quote runs out of the way and the ghost of King slashes Galleom repeatedly.

Galleom gets back up and kicks Quote towards the ghost of King.

The ghost of King catches Quote and sets him down before resuming his slashfest.

Galleom flicks the ghost of King away, as he'd have to be solid in order to slash Galleom.

OOC: It's boring explanation time, kids! Are you ready?

In Cave Story, if you level up the Blade weapon enough, it can summon the ghost of King, who will use magic slash things to hit everything around Quote without actually physically slashing enemies. So that's how he's slashing Galleom. However, some may argue that he'd have to be solid to catch Quote. Good point, but as a ghost, King can physically touch whatever he wants to but let what he doesn't want touching him pass through, which is how he can hold a sword.

OOC: Ah. I never played Cave Story, so I wouldn't really know.

IC:

Galleom turns into his tank mode and rams Quote, as there's not much he can do about the ghost of King.

Quote goes flying into Jack's house, but quickly gets back up and, seeing that he's low on missles, puts away the missle launcher and pulls out the Bubbler instead (because bubbles are deadly), holding down the trigger and amassing several bubbles around him.

Galleom (still in tank mode) fires rockets at the bubbles.

The bubbles explode, but more appear. When there are 100 of them, Quote lets go of the trigger and the bubbles fly at Galleom.

Galleom quickly turns back to normal and tries to jump over the bubbles.

He makes it over some, but the rest hit him and explode, doing more damage than a bubble should.

Galleom rubs his head in pain, but then spins into Quote.

Quote puts away the Bubbler and takes out his Fireball weapon, tossing it at Galleom and setting him/it on fire.

Galleom spins around again, sending some of the flames onto Quote.

Quote is lit on fire, but is thankfully fireproof. He had the good sense to upgrade after Cave Story.

Galleom kicks Quote into a random Mimiga's house.

???: HALT, FOWL ALIENS! *reveals as Earthworm Jim.* Break another house, then the landlord will sue you!!

Fangy is behind Jim, looking around for the trophy vehicle.

Earthworm Jim: *to Galleom and start blasting him.* EAT DIRT, CRIMINAL MASTERMIND OF THE VOID!! HAAA HA HA HA HA!!

Galleom throws Jim at Quote.

*The Trophy Carrier Vehicle is near Fangy.*

Fangy sneaks towards the vehicle.

*The Primid is gets out a walkie talkie and orders more Primids to come.*
