New Mobotropolis (Sonic the Hedgehog Comic)

Amy walks up to Sonic.
Amy: So now that that's over, how about we go for a romantic dinner, Sonic? It'll be beautiful!
Sonic: Uh...I just remembered I have to...clean my shoes! BYE!
Sonic runs off.
Amy: SONIC!
Amy runs after Sonic. Meanwhile, below the city, NICOLE works on freeing Mighty from Giygas' control in a lab.

Meanwhile, a figure probably unlike anything seen before in New Mobotropolis crashes to the ground, landing in the middle of a street.

Sonic stops in front of the figure as animal-people on the street run away in panic.
Sonic: What the...?

The figure gets up, revealing it to be a velociraptor that has a collar with a blue light on it around its neck.

Sonic: Is that...a raptor?

The raptor (Simba) turns towards Sonic.

Sonic: Erm...hi?

Simba slowly raises one claw and waves hello back.

Amy suddenly runs up to Sonic.
Amy: Now I've...
Amy sees Simba.
Amy: EEK! Is that a...a raptor?
Sonic: Apparently, yes.

Simba jumps back in surprise on hearing Amy scream.

Sonic walks up to Simba.
Sonic: There, there. It's alright. Now then, can you talk?

Simba tilts his head to the side in confusion.

Sonic: I take that as a "no". Hmm...could I take a look at your collar?

Simba, not recognizing this as a question, does nothing.

Sonic points at his eyes, then points at Simba's collar.

Simba, misinterpreting this (his grasp of English is limited), starts trying to remove the collar with his toe claw.

Sonic: Erm...I suppose that works.

Upon Simba touching the area around the blue light, the collar lets out a painful electric shock. Simba hisses in pain and puts his leg back on the ground.

Sonic tries to inspect the collar.

The color, aside from looking fancy and such, has three holes in it, one red, one white, and one yellow, sort of like what you plug wires into on a television to hook up your Nintendo Wii.

Sonic: I was hoping this would say where you came from...

Simba turns back to Sonic and starts sniffing him.

Sonic just lets Simba do this.

Simba tries to bite Sonic, but gets another electric shock and falls to the ground.

Sonic: GAH! Did he just try to bite me? And here I thought he was friendly...
Sonic kneels down and thinks of what to do.
