Castlevania (Castlevania)

Dopple Julius wraps the Vampire Killer around Julius's waist and tries to fling him into the water. Meanwhile, Alex gets the sarcophagus out of the way, revealing a passage down into the Underground Caverns.

Julius grabs ahold of Dopple Julius's whip and yanks on it to drag him into the water with him.

The Shaft silhouette appears in the Colliseum and starts to chant something.

...

Olrox enters his living quarters and sits down at one end of a long dinning table. He grabs a glass of wine and starts to drink it.

...

Death looks out the balcony and looks at the moon.

The Doppleganger doesn't need to breath, so it shoves Julius down towards the bottom.

...

Alex enters the Underground Caverns.

Yoko tries to get up to help Julius, but quickly falls back down. Julius grabs the Dopple by it's leg and levels it with himself. He then start to punch the Dopple in the face.

Dopple Julius follows suit. Meanwhile, Alex hears the sounds of fighting and heads towards wherever Yoko, Julius, and the Doppleganger are.

Yoko starts to concentrate. Julius tries to swim away.

The Dopple Julius grabs Julius by the ankles, trying to keep him from swimming away. Meanwhile, Alex gets to where the battle is taking place... and naturally sees nothing, as everyone but Yoko is underwater.

Yoko: Come on Julius...

Julius tries to kick the Dopple in the face.

Dopple Julius moves his head out of the way.

Alex: Hey, lady! Do you know what's going on?

Yoko turns around and a frightened look is on her face after seeing Alex.

Yoko: NOT ANOTHER MONSTER!!!

Yoko readies her wand. Julius grabs a dagger and attempts to stab Dopple Julius's arm.

Dopple Julius whips the dagger away. Meanwhile...
Alex: I'm not going to hurt you. Now, do you want help or not?

Yoko: Oh yes please! My friend is down under water and he's fighting a Doppleganger! Please, you have to help him!

Julius tries to swim away again.

Dopple Julius grabs Julius, trying to pull him down. Meanwhile, Alex doesn't say anything more and dives underwater, by sheer chance hitting Dopple Julius in the head with his shell, causing the latter to let go of Julius.

Julius quickly swims up to the surface and next to the boat. He climbs aboard and starts gasping for air.

Yoko: JULIUS!!! *Hugs him.*

The Doppleganger turns into Alex and tries to stab the real one, but doesn't get far due to Alex's shell. Alex starts swimming towards the surface.

Yoko looks over the edge of the boat and reaches towards the reflection of Alex.

Alex gets out of the water, notices Yoko extending her hand toward him, and grabs it (gently), not noticing the Doppleganger popping out of the water behind him.

Yoko quickly pulls Alex aboard and aims her wand at the Dopple Alex. She casts an ice spell and freezes the Dopple in the water.

The rest of the water starts freezing, as well.
Alex: Thanks for the lift.

Yoko: No, thank you for helping my friend. *Looks at Julius.* I just hope he recovers in time. *Looks at Alex.* We never did get the chance to formally introduce ourselves. My name is Yoko.

Alex: My name's Alex. And right now, I'm going to see someone about my current living conditions.
Unbeknownst to anyone, a crow is in the darkness watching the entire conversation take place.

Yoko: You're living here!?

Alex: I don't intend to. Death himself told me I should stay a while, make myself at home, and then had his maid throw me into the basement.

Yoko: DEATH!?!? Do not trust him! I'm sure he'll find a way to trick you and use you... somehow.

Alex: Really. I thought he was so trustworthy.
