Julius starts to cough out water.

Yoko: It seems he's coming to.

Julius opens his eyes and looks at Yoko.

Julius: What happened?

Yoko: Alex here just saved you from that Doppleganger.

Julius: *Looks at Alex.* Thank you...

Alex: No problem. Now, should we do something about our transportation situation?

Julius: *Gets up and looks at the frozen water.* I suppose we should continue on foot. *Picks up Yoko.* If we stay here, I'm sure more creatures will attack.

A loud thumping sound is heard echoing through the tunnel and behind the boat.

Yoko: What was that?

Julius turns around and notices the ice starting to crack. A large figure slowly walks towards the group.

Julius: Let's go! *Runs down the tunnel.*

Alex also makes a run for it. The crow flies off and goes to the balcony, landing in front of Death.

The group sees a bright light at the end of the tunnel. Julius stops at the edge of what used to be a waterfall and looks around. He spots a set of broken staircases spiraling up against the cavern wall and towards an opening near the top of the cavern. Julius starts climbing the set of stairs, occasionally jumping over any gaps in the staircases.

Alex turns into Dark Alex and flies up the staircase.

The Golem reaches the end of tunnel and spots the group. He slams his fist into the cavern wall and causes several boulders to fall from the ceiling. One boulder breaks the staircase in front of Julius and another breaks the staircase behind him.

Julius: ALEX!!! CATCH HER!!!

Julius throws Yoko at Alex.

Alex grabs Yoko and keeps going up the staircase with her in his arms.

Yoko: JULIUS, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?!?

Julius: I need to keep this thing distracted while you two escape!

Yoko: NO, DON'T!!!

Julius jumps down and towards the Golem. He swings his whip at the Golem, puncturing the first layer of dirt. The whip gets stuck in the Golem. Julius swings around the Golem and lands on it's backside. The Golem tries to get Julius of it's back by grabbing at him. Julius does his best to stay on the Golem by pulling on the whip and forcing the Golem over the edge of the frozen waterfall.

Yoko: NO!!!

Alex sets Yoko down on solid ground.
DA: Get to safety.
DA flies down to help Julius.

...

The crow on the balcony turns to Death.
Crow: You might be interested to know that your new "willing sacrifice" has allied himself with the Belmont and his girl.

Death stares at the crow and then back at the moon.

Death: Not to worry. I'm sure Shaft should be able to persuade him. After all, he did manage to persuade Richter Belmont several centuries ago, so he has my trust.

...

Yoko manages to stand up and starts to head towards the opening at the top of the stairs.

...

The Golem and Julius continue falling until the Golem finally hits ground with a loud crack. Julius jumps off the Golem and lands a few feet away. The Golem stands up and turns to Julius. The layers of dirt protecting the red orb break off and reveal to Julius the Golem's weak spot.

Crow: If you insist.
The crow flies off to reunite with its master.

...

Alex rockets towards the Golem's weak spot, trying to stab it.

The Golem somehow notices Alex's attack and raises it's hand up to protect the orb.

Alex quickly doubles back to avoid smacking into the hand.

Julius jumps up and kicks the Golem, knocking it on it's back.

Alex flies towards the Golem again and tries once more to stab it in the orb thing.

Alex's sword pierces through the orb and causes it to shatter. The Golem then turns into a pile of dirt.

Julius: Now that that's been taken care of, hw should head back.

Julius starts to climb up the stairs. Yoko is waiting at the top.

Alex flies up to the top, lands by Yoko, and turns to normal.

Julius inally reaches the top of the staircase.

Yoko: I'm glad you two are alright!

Julius: There's no time for small talk Yoko. We need to keep moving.

Julius and Yoko start to walk down the cavern.

Alex follows them.

The group come upon an ornate door.

Yoko: Are we moving on to the next section of the castle?

Julius: Yes...

Julius opens the door and Yoko and him enter the next section... the Clock Tower.

Alex (you guessed it) follows them, a crow watching the group's movements.

Julius looks up and spots several Medusa Heads (hate them) floating around near the top of the room.

Julius: This ascent is going to be difficult...

Yoko: It's always in the towers!

Alex gets out the Portal Gun for no apparent reason.

Yoko: Uh, what is that?
