Slogra leaps down from the gears and lands behind Yoko, grabbing her and putting his spear tip against her throat.

Alucard and Julius stop and turn to see Yoko.

Yoko: !!!

Death: Excellent work, Slogra! Bring her to me!

...

Aya continues to bang on the door but slowly stops from exhaustion.

Aya: *Pant, pant. Thinking: It's as good as locked. I used too much of my powers with the encounter with that... thing.*

Slogra drags Yoko over to Death, keeping his spear tip against her. Alex is twitching angrily.

Kanden enters the Dark Chapel and turns back into his "normal" form. He then starts walking.

Death: Oh, what to do with you my dear... I know! I'm sure we can find you spot as one of the sacrfices!

Yoko: No!

Death: I'm sure Succubus won't mind giving up her spot. *Turns to the others.* If you want your friend back, then continue on and I'm sure we'll be able to negotiate.

Julius: We'll never negotiate with the likes of you!

Death: Very well then... *To Slogra and Gaibon.* ...Kill them.

Yoko: NO!!!

...

Aya sits on the seat and starts to concentrate.

Kanden looks around, walking in the direction of the room the confession booth is in.

Aya: *Thinking: It's here...*

Aya starts to wait patiently.

Kanden enters the room, smells the air (even though he doesn't have a visible nose), and walks towards the confession booth.

Aya: *Thinking: Closer...*

Kanden walks up to the confession booth and tries to open the door.

Aya: *Thinking: NOW!!!*

Aya casts Pyrokinises to blow open the booth and send Kanden flying into a wall.

Alex: WAIT!
Slogra and Gaibon turn to Alex.
Alex: As you said, we can work something out. Say, I give myself up to you and we get Yoko back?
Alex turns to Julius and Alucard and winks.

Kanden hits the wall, but then gets back up.
Kanden: I was hoping to kill you.

Death: ... You have yourself a deal.

Death motions Yoko to walk back to the group. She slowly does so.

Yoko: Alex...

...

Aya: So you can talk? Tell me, who owns this castle?

Alex slowly walks over towards Death. He is about to pass Slogra when he suddenly turns around and punches him in the stomach, causing Slogra to kneel over in pain.
Alex: What? You thought I was serious?

Death: You have made a deal with Death, and I will make you fulfill that deal.

Death flies at Alex and attempts to grab him.

Alucard: Alex! Don't let him touch you!

Kanden: I know as much as you do, though it doesn't matter, as you'll soon be dead. And for the record, talking is a waste of time.
Kanden runs up to Aya and punches her.

Alex slides out of the way and stabs Death through the hand.
Alex: Ah, but taking what I know of you, you would have killed Yoko the minute I was sacrificed. So even if I fulfilled my end of the bargain, you would not have, and a deal where no one intends to fulfill their end of it is a pretty bad deal.

Death: You are correct, I would have done exactly that, dooming humanity and the world so the deal would have been pointless. None the less, I've got you were I want you!

Death grabs his scythe and swings it at Alex's head.

Alex grabs the scythe's handle before the blade can touch him.
Alex: On the contrary.
Alex turns into Dark Alex and sends lightning coursing through the scythe, electrifying Death and damaging him pretty badly.

Death screams but suddenly starts laughing.

Death: You honestly think you can beat me!?

Death lets go of his scythe and touches Alex with his hand. A sudden red glow comes from Death's hand and strange marks to appear all over Alex's body.

...

Aya flinches and falls to the ground.

Aya: Why do you want to kill me anyways!?

Suddenly, a beam of holy light comes down from the sky and envelops Alex. The bat wings fold up in favor of angel wings and his pupils glow white as he turns into Light Alex. The marks start to disappear as Death's hand gets burned by the "light within Alex".

Kanden: It's survival.
Kanden aims the Volt Driver at Aya's face.

Death moves his hand away from Alex and yanks his scythe out of Alex's hand.

Death: What is this!?

Yoko: Alex!?

Julius: !!!

Alucard: ...

...

Aya grabs her baton, pushes Kanden's weapon to the side and smacks the baton clear across Kanden's helmet.

OOC: I'm pretty sure Kanden doesn't wear a helmet. >_<

Kanden's head is twisted backwards because of this, but then he then twists it back in a creepy fashion.
