Main Street (Aura of the Moon)

Meanwhile, Ashley continues walking throughout Main Street when she senses something in the hospital and enters.

Maria: *Blushes.* Uhm, Joshua...

Joshua: Yes Maria?

Maria: ... Could you let go of my hand now?

Joshua: *Looks down at his hands and quickly lets go.* GACK!!! Maria, I'm sorry!

Maria: It's okay! It's okay!

Joshua: *Looks at the time.* Ugh, it's late, I should be heading back. Nathaniel will through a hissy fit if I don't come back sooner or later.

Maria: You're right. After all, he does need an older brother to look after himself.

Joshua: Like he really needs me!

Maria: But...

Joshua: But what?

Maria: N-nothing, you should go... Joshua?

Joshua: Yeah?

Maria: Do you think you can come back tommorrow and help me with more piano lessons?

Joshua: From what I've seen, you're great with the kids. I don't think you need me around.

Maria: It's not for the kids... It's for me. You were always a better piano student than me back when we were little.

Joshua: ... Okay. *Heads to the door.* See ya tommorrow! Bye!

Maria: Bye.

Joshua exits Maria's house and starts to walk down the street to his house.

*Homestar Runner arrives.*

Homestar: Ooh. Nice place this has been!

*One of the Reapers got a baseball bat and glares angirly at Homestar.*

Reaper: What do you think you're doing? Only human beings come here, and you ain't no human being, bub.

Homestar: Or just a human being without arms.

Reaper: And is wearing a ridiculous viking helmet just for your own stupidity. GET THE HECK OUT OF HERE OR I'LL MAKE YOU EAT MR. DIRT!!

Homestar: Oooh. OK Then. See you later. *walks out.*

Reaper: You mean "see you never."

*Homsar arrives*

Reaper: NICE TRY, ARMLESS FREAK! I KNOW IT'S YOU!!

Homsar: I'm a tourist attraction!!

Reaper: Oi.... *handslaps.* Fine... Just walk around like an idiot and people will witness how stupid you are.

Homsar: AaaAAaaAAAaa!! I was born from a cup of coffee!!

Reaper: GET OUT OF MY SITE!

Homsar: I'm doing as I told....

Reaper: Is this guy a class 5 nutcase?

Ashley enters the hospital and goes over to where Sparky's room was.

As Joshua is walking down the street, he hears the sound of something large ruffling in a nearby bush.

Joshua: Who's there!?

No one answers.

Joshua: I'm warning you, I have a black belt in self-defense.

A sudden growl is heard from the bush and Joshua starts backing away. Suddenly, a large, wolf like creature with a scar over it's left eye jumps out from the bush and attacks Joshua.

Joshua: AAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!

The creature only scratches Joshua on his right arm, but Joshua managed to kick the creature in the face. The creature yipes and runs away.

Joshua: What the hell was that thing!?

Ashley walks around Sparky's room.
Ashley: *To herself* More than just a teleportation spell was used in here...

OOC: Why is it that the main admin, who who should be enforcing the rules, seems intent on breaking them?

A nurse walks by Sparky's room and sees Ashley.

Nurse: Excuse me, little girl, are you lost?

Joshua grabs his arm in pain and continues his way back to his house, but at a slower rate. While he is walking, he feels an unpleasant, burning feeling in his stomach.

OOC: Ok, nevermind.

Ashley turns angrily to the nurse.
Ashley I am NOT a little girl.

The nurse steps back, a bit shocked by the response.

Nurse: Well... You shouldn't be by yourself.

Ashley smirks.
Ashley: Who says I am?

OOC: LWB said that I can put these two in the topic. I asked permission for this.

*Sam and Max arrives.*

Sam: Looks like this is a good place for us to look for the Wus.

Max: Oh goody! Maybe I could test them babies out when we find them!

Sam: Leave it to the professionals, Max.

The nurse stares at Ashley.

Nurse: *Thinking: What is this girl's problem?*

Amazingly, Joshua manages to reach his house and knocks on the front door at a weak pace.

Nathnaiel: FINALLY!!!

Nathaniel jumps off the couch and runs to the door. He opens the door and looks outisde with a sour expression.

Nathaniel: WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN!?!? I'VE BEEN- Whoa, Josh, what happened to you?

Joshua: Some large dog jumped out and scratched me! I managed to scare it away by kicking it in the face, so I don't think we'll be hearing more from it.

Nathaniel: Well, let me go get the bandages.

Joshua: No, I'm fine, it's just a- *The sudden burning feeling flares up.* DURGH!!! *Kneels over in pain.*

Nathaniel: Joshua!

Joshua: *Panting.* ... I'm fine. *The burning dies down.* It's gone now.

Nathaniel: I'll get the bandages. You go upstairs and wait for me up there.

Nathaniel runs into the kitchen to get the medical kit, while Joshua goes into his room and lies on his bed.

Ashley goes up to the nurse, circling her during the following sentance and leaning in at various points.
Ashley: Haven't you ever wondered if you are ever really alone? Sure, you might like to think you are, but deep down inside, you know you aren't. You know there are things out there, watching you. Always watching. Watching and waiting for the perfect time to come out and have some fun with you. Frightening, isn't it? That's why you try to block out those thoughts, trying in vain to believe that those things don't exist, that your world is blissful and happy and will stay that way forever. It's just too bad that isn't true.
The nurse is now on the floor, rocking back and forth in the fetal position. Ashley sarcastically pats her on the head.
Ashley: Why don't you run on home?
The nurse fearfully nods, gets up, and does so.

Sam: Where do you want to start?

Max: I'd start by looking around in the neighborhood....and the sewers, then the forest, then the lake, then even Grandma's house she was kicked out from the house nabbing wolf!!! *enters the neighborhood with Sam.*

As Joshua is lying on the bed, he feels the burning feeling flare back up. He can't but also feel that his skin feels weird and that his face seems to changing as well. He pulls off his shirt and sees that fur is growing everywhere on his body. He also notices that his nails are growing and that his teeth are sharpening into fangs. He rolls of his bed in extreme pain and looks up at the mirror hung on his closet. He sees that his mouth and nose have blend into a muzzle. His eyes aren't the blue that it's always been, but rather yellow and his pupil cat like. He notices that he has become more muscular, not substantially, but it's still noticable. He feels that his memories are being erased and that his primal instincts are taking over. The transformation is complete and Joshua is gone... only to be replaced by a large, werewolf. The werewolf howls instinctively, startling Nathaniel and causing him to drop the medical kit.

Nathaniel: Darn it! Stupid dog!

The werewolf hears Nathaniel and can't but feel that he is rather hungry. The werewolf licks it's muzzle and exits it's room.

Ashley continues observing the room.
Ashley: Dark magic was used here... probably of the mind protection sort. Someone didn't want someone else to mess with some person's memories...

Sam: Max, did you just hear that?

Max: Sounds like somebody isn't too good with pets.

Sam: It looks like something is coming from the house. *walks over to Joshua's and Nathaniel's house and knocks the door.*

Nathaniel puts all the necessary medical equipment back into the large case and carries it upstairs and into Joshua's room. He notices that Joshua isn't in his room and puts the case down.

Nathaniel: Josh? Where are you?

Nathaniel, unaware that the werewolf is waiting at the doorway, looks and notices that Joshua's shirt has sharp claw marks at the bottom of the shirt.

Nathaniel: Wait, didn't the dog get him on the arm?

Nathaniel hears the knocking and turns back around. The werewolf isn't waiting at the doorway anymore. Nathaniel heads back down stairs and opens the front door.

Sam: *shows Nathaniel the badge* Sam & Max: Freelance Police. We heard the disturbance from your house. Is your dog alright?

Max: Or is he suffering from RABIES?!!

Ashley: *To self* I'll look into this later.
Ashley leaves the hospital.

Nathaniel stares at Sam and Max.

Nathaniel: Don't you think you should wait for Halloween?

Ashley passes by Nathaniel and Joshua's house and notices Sam and Max.
Ashley: Those are the stupidest costumes ever.

Nathaniel looks over Sam's shoulder.

Nathaniel: I agree with her there. At least she has an original design.
