Main Street (Aura of the Moon)

Ashley stares, rather peeved, at Nathaniel.
Ashley: This isn't a costume.

*Sam and Max looks at each other.*

Sam: *whispers to Max* I have a feeling that he thinks that we're here for Halloween, or he thinks we're wearing costumes.

Max: *whispers back* Let's just say that we're wearing costumes.

Sam: Really? Well, I don't suppose why this helps.

*Then they face Nathaniel.*

Sam: Well we are wearing these costumes for the annual costume party.

Max: But we have a reason why we're wearing these. You remember those teenagers who got drunk during the party? We're undercover just to make sure NO brat is going to drink and drive. And if they do that, I swear by my mother's anger, I pulverize them... just to teach them a lesson.

Sam: But anyway, we heard that your dog is growling. Mind if we take a look?

Ashley: What kind of policemen investigate a growling dog? You might as well investigate a stinky dumpster.

Lady walks up beside Nathaniel. Nathaniel kneels down and picks her up.

Nathaniel: Go right ahead.

Max: *angry at Ashley* And you better investigate your big mouth for backsassing, witch!

*Sam and Max enters the house*

Ashley's hair briefly flashes white. An anvil falls on Max.

OOC: How would Max know that Ashley knew magic? She didn't use any magic powers before dropping an anvil on him.

Nathaniel: WHAT THE HELL!?!?

A Reaper appears in the branches of the tree next to the house and watches Ashley.

Ashley walks away from Nathaniel's house.

Max: *picks up an anvil and throws it off.* A falling anvil. Puh-leeze!

Sam: Save the torch and pitchforks for the Wicked Witch of the West, Max. *goes upstairs with Max* HOLY SWEET HOWLING HADES WITH TWO SIDES OF BAD AND BADDER! *sees Joshua the Werewolf.* Max, we have encountered a monster that only exist whenever there is moonlight.

Max: And there is only monster that comes out and start giving people rabies.

Sam: A werewolf!!!

But the werewolf isn't anywhere upstairs.

Meanwhile, Ashley turns to the tree the Reaper is in and notices said Reaper.

Sam: Oh. Just a cardboard version of it.

Max: *pulls out a gun* Let's use this just in case if that thing has R-A-B-I-E-S.

Sam: How is PETA going to react to your actions?

Max: Let's say.. frightened, angered, and somewhat stupid that they're too distracted to see the real problem they're facing.

The Reaper jumps out of the tree and lands infront of Ashley.

Ashley: What did I do wrong this time?

*Sam checks on each room in the house.*

Reaper: I was sent to keep an eye on you three and to be prepared just in case any of you goof up.

Ashley: So you think I'm affiliated with the idiots in the house?

Sam: Nothing suspicious here.

Max: I think it's trying to give us the slip on not to be taken to the pound.

Reaper: There is a werewolf in the house and having you three here with it makes my job easier when I need to keep my eye on you all. I'll allow you to cast spells IF the werewolf ever rears it's ugly face.

*Sam and Max walks over to Nathaniel.*

Sam: Did you hear any growling lately?

Ashley was reading a newspaper she packed while the Reaper said what he said in LWB's last post. Basically, she wasn't paying attention.

Nathaniel: I heard a howl. I thought it was one of the dogs outside in the neighborhood.

...

A stress mark appears on the Reaper's hood. He pulls out his scythe and slices the newspaper.

Ashley puts down what's left of the newspaper and looks at the Reaper, quite peeved.

Max: I thought the neighborhood dogs are sleeping.

Sam: That howl is deeper than you think. I know it sounds unusual, but are you aware that a werewolf is in your house?

Nathaniel: Yeah, as much as I believe that the Boogieman is in my closet.[/sarcasm]

Reaper: Don't give me that look. You should know the rules. You're not even supposed be here witch.
