Main Street (Aura of the Moon)

Carnage's symbiote heals him.

Carnage: You are strong...This host is a weakling compaired to you...want to bond?

Cletus Kasady's Voice: WHAT?! What are you saying?!

Carnage: You are obsolete. I will soon have a new partner.

Death: As interesting as that deal may sound, I have no need for assistance fom a mortal creature.

Meanwhile, on the road of Main Street, a portal opens up and Werewolf Joshua and Nathaniel jump out.

Nathaniel: Wh-what is going on!? Where is the light!?

Werewolf Joshua: I don't know. I think you need to use that marble.

Nathaniel: Oh right!

Nathaniel pulls out the Cat's Eye Marble and uses it's power to allow him to see in the dark.

Nathaniel: What about you?

Werewolf Joshua: I can see using my senses, so you don't need to worry.

The Gloom soldiers are all in the park, watching Death.

Joshua sniffs the air and catches Maria's scent.

Werewolf Joshua: I smell her! She is okay! MARIA!!!

Joshua runs down the street and towards Maria's house.

Nathaniel: WAIT UP!!!

Maria: Is that... JOSHUA!?!? WHERE ARE YOU!?!?

Werewolf Joshua: I'M COMING MARIA!!!

However, The Shade is still on Main Street and, hearing Maria screaming, heads for her house.

Werewolf Joshua sees Maria's injuries and that makes him run even harder.

Nathaniel: No, wait Joshua! Your "illness"!

Werewolf Joshua abruptly stops just a few feet away from Maria. He realized that if Maria found out he was a werewolf, she probably wouldn't want to be around him anymore. Nathaniel catches up to Joshua.

Nathaniel: Maria, what happened?

Maria: I don't know. When I woke up this morning, I saw the light disappearing and then I was attacked.

Nathaniel: Well don't worry! Me and Joshua will fix this.

Maria: How?

Nathaniel: We know a few things.

Magilla: Excuse me, ma'am, but is that your friend? Cuz if so, howdy-doo, stranger!

Nathaniel: ... It's another talking gorilla, Josh.

Werewolf Joshua: At this point, I'm not surprised.

Magilla: You were expecting King Kong?

Nathaniel: We were expecting fighting some sort of weird creature that can absorb light.

Meanwhile...

Death gasps and looks in the direction of Main Street, as if knowing something is coming.

Death: Can it be... them? Hmph, I have no time for this. I must be off now. *To the Gloom Soldiers.* Tell your master that I want to see him in Phantasmo Forest... alone.

Death spins his scythe around and disappears.

Magilla: You mean that guy over there?

*A light bulb monster is sticking his tongue at the group.*

Nathaniel: Eh, no.

Magilla: Then who?

Nathaniel: I don't know, but I can... sense the evil... somehow... and it's close.

The Shade is right behind Nathaniel. Meanwhile, the Gloom Soldiers twist off towards Main Street.

Nathaniel turns around and looks at the Shade.

The Shade stares back, though you can't see his eyes (if he has any).

Nathaniel: This... is... it... but how...

Werewolf Joshua: *Snarls.* Nathaniel, back away.

Nathaniel does so.

Maria: Joshua!?

Nathaniel: It's okay Maria.

A Gloom Soldier flies through the window and whispers/moans something where The Shade's ear would be. The Shade replies in Gloom. Let's translate, but to make it fun, let's only translate The Shade.
The Shade: <What? But who would have the gall to summon ME to... Oh, I see. What nerve. Well, fine. I'll come... but on my terms.>
The Shade leaves the house, followed by the Gloom soldier.

Nathaniel: Hey!

Werewolf Joshua: Where are thay going!?

Nathaniel: Who cares!? After them!

Maria: Joshua, don't leave me here by myself!

Werewolf Joshua: I promise I'll be back as soon as possible. Just stay here!

Joshua and Nathaniel run after.

The rest of the Gloom Soldiers are outside, all facing the Amnott brothers.

OOC: I think that's how you spell it...

OOC: If only I posted the second part of... "their" last name.

Nathaniel: Oh crap...

Werewolf Joshua: *Smiles.* Ready?

Nathaniel: *Readies scythe.* Ready as I'll ever be.

The Gloom soldiers ignore the Amnott brothers as fog starts gathering around them.

Nathaniel: darn these guys are boring! *Tries to slash one of the Gloom Soldiers.*
