The Tower of Babel (Book of Genesis)

Darkling suddenly screams very loudly. His wings stop working and he comes crashing to the ground.

Succubus was knocked back. She gets back up and uses her spikes to lft Paper Mario up and throw him into the dark orbs.

Klarion floats into the topic and observes the battle.

OOC: Haven't used him in a while...

Darkling: ...That was odd...

Darkling flies back up.

<@Bwee> Oh, that? No, there's only 2 of mine facing one of mine and Succubus. Glacier wants to give his services to Darkling and Death.

Paper Mario hits one of the dark orbs, hurting his tootsies bad. Waluigi tackles Succubus with his thorny hand-shield. Minamimoto gets peeved.
<Minamimoto> Die, radians!
Minamimoto summons two Shock Cores around him, and charges at Waluigi so the Shock Cores can zap him. Waluigi hid still under his shield when he did so.

Glacier watches the fight from the tower's top, with Darkling and Death.
<Glacier> Heeeheeheehee! Now THIS is entertainment!

OOC: Wrong forum, Karasz. Or is this some sort of glitch? >_>

<OOC> Ack!! I'm sorry, I was curious about the dice. Didn't know it was meant for the turn-based RPG.

OOC: Karasz is the "Game Master", so whenever someone uses the die he automatically posts, regardless of whether or not he is logged on.

IC:

Darkling flies back up to Death, deciding to ignore the battle.

The Shock Cores still revolving around Minamimoto, he pounces into Paper Mario, inflicting damage with both the tackle and the electrocution. Paper Mario was sent flying back.
<Paper Mario> Oof...This ain't looking good.
Paper Mario whips out the Sapphire Crystal Star, which sprinkles all over himself and Waluigi, restoring lost stamina.

Succubus: These two are quite annoying.

Succubus summons more Succubi clones to aid her. They all surround Waluigi and Paper Mario and they all chuckle in unison.

Succubi: Can you guess which one of us is the real thing?

The Succubi start to spin around the two at incredible speed, kicking up dirt and debris. The Succubi spin so fast that they make a miniature tornado. Most of the debris in the tornado hit Waluigi and Paper Mario.

<Paper Mario> We'll have all the time in the world. Or something close to it.
Paper Mario whips out the Emerald Crystal Star. With it, he inflicts a time freeze on Succubus and her duplicates. Waluigi then whips out an Expando-Bob-omb and sets it down.
<Waluigi> Now, I just add water and...
Waluigi sprinkles the Expando-Bob-omb with a watering can. Then, it starts growing, its fuse burning. Waluigi and Paper Mario flee. Minamimoto chases after them.
<Minamimoto> Not so fast, 000s!!!
Minamimoto then summons two Trance Rhinos (taboo Noise) in front of the two plumbers.
<Waluigi> Uh-oh!
The Trance Rhinos knock Paper Mario and Waluigi into the air. When they collided into the ground, the Trance Rhinos stomped onto them. Then, Minamimoto walked over, and charged up a dark magic ray.
<Minamimoto> You hectopascals are finished! Drown in the sea of imaginary numbers!!!
Minamimoto charged the ray up like crazy.
<Minamimoto> 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419716939937510 5820974944!!!!!
With the ray at a gargantuan size, he smashed it into Waluigi and Paper Mario.
<Waluigi> WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!
<Paper Mario> MAMA-MIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
After the blast cleared, only Minamimoto and the two Trance Rhinos stood at that spot. Waluigi and Paper Mario were...well, pretty much GONE. However, it was only then that anyone noticed that the Expando-Bob-omb in between all the time-frozen Succubi grew to the size of a Trance Rhino and exploded on them all.

The fake Succubi disappear and Succubus is seen flying through the air. Death disappears and reappears to catch Succubus.

Death: You've done well for today. Now rest...

Succubus nods and quickly falls to sleep.

Death: Now then, *To Glacier.* to the top.

Death floats to the top of the tower.

Darkling: Alright, can we get on with this? Paper dude and Purple can get up here.

Death: Of course Darkling. *Sets Succubus down.* Tell me... do you fear... death?

Darkling: No. Nothing has been able to kill me, obviously, since I was born with the Big Bang.

Death: *Chuckles.* Well then, looks like I will have company even after this plan works.

Darkling: What do you mean?

Death: This tower barely grazes the heavens. Imagine, killing one of God's children before his very eyes...

Darkling: You want me to kill an angel?

Death: No, I want you to get me one. More specifically, this one.

Death creates a holographic image of Nathaniel.

Darkling: You want me to capture him? Done.

Darkling disappears.

If you expected Klarion to teleport off and warn Nathaniel, you're wrong.

Darkling appears, holding Nathaniel by the neck. Nathaniel is tied up.

Darkling: Done. All I had to do was freeze time.
