Nathaniel: WHAT THE CRA-

Death: Hello young reaper...

Nathaniel looks up at Death in disbelief.

Nathaniel: A-a-a-are you-

Death: Death...

Nathaniel: Oh... great...

Death: ... My son... my perfect son...

Wraith Guy randomly appears in the topic.
Wraith Guy: ... This really doesn't look like the Underwhere. Or Overthere, for that matter.

Darkling: You're somewhere in between.

Wraith Guy: Lucky me.

Seeing as Waluigi and Paper Mario are indeed obliterated, Glacier had nothing of them to bring. So, he went to the top as Death ordered.

Death looks over at Wraith Guy and cackles.

Death: Ah, brother... what business did you have to attend to over in the Mushroom Dimension?

Somewhere in a distance that's hard to notice, Dr. Shnoz/Robospaz appear, flying towards the Tower.
<Dr. Shnoz> With space, one of the most powerful elements of the universe, we shall command the heavens themselves! Isn't that great?
<Robospaz> If it gets you a body so you can get off mine, I'd be overjoyed.

Wraith Guy: Same as usual, but there seems to be a lack of death there lately. I blame that black-shelled Koopa leaving.
Wraith Guy notices Nathaniel.
Wraith Guy: Hellooooooooo. What have we here?

Glacier paid attention while trying not to be bored.

Dr. Shnoz/Robospaz continue to close in. Some distance behind them, Lava, Domino, Bahamut, Anubis IV, Nar, Weas, Mitri, and Jimbob appeared. They could see Dr. Shnoz/Robospaz going towards the Tower in the distance. Jimbob moves his hand around his face as if praying.
<Jimbob> I'm not worthy!
Anubis IV feels uneasy.
<Anubis IV> The air here feels a bit danker than normal. Must be that Darkling.
Lava, with Mitri on his saddle, gets a head-start after Dr. Shnoz/Robospaz.
<Lava> Hurry!
<Mitri> We don't wanna leave you behind!
Bahamut then flies right past them.
<Bahamut> You want a race, then?
Lava sighs and face-palms while continuing his run. The others catch up with Lava and Bahamut.

Nathaniel: Holy crap, it's a Shy Guy.

Death: Wraith Guy, this is one of my sons, Nathaniel. His death will destroy this pitiful world. Nathaniel, this is your uncle.

Nathaniel: YOU MEAN I'M RELATED TO A SHY GUY!?!?

Death: Every reaper is my child, so technically that would make Wraith Guy your brother along the line.

Nathaniel: ... So, you mean, you got-

Death: Yes, though not directly. If I touch a woman, they die, so I had to impregnate them with magic.

Nathaniel: ... So you impregnated more than one woman in hopes of...

Death: Creating the perfect half reaper, half angel... and that is you.

Nathaniel: ... Okay, that is soooooo wrong beyond sooooooo many ways it's not even funny.

Death: Human life is meaningless and it needs to be destroyed, so I had to do it, even though it took me centuries just to find an angel and trick her.

Nathaniel: So, our mom was... an angel?

Death: ... Her name was Life and she was a Seraph, the highest ranking of angels... and I... loved her...

Wraith Guy: Well, that's nice to clear up. See, Nathaniel, at first I thought you might have been born in the Mushroom Kingdom, and then you'd be my problem. You'd be surprised how many humans reside in a dimension of living fungi. Now that I know you aren't, your dear old daddy can do whatever he wants with you. Forgive me for not shaking hands, I have his little "problem".

Death: Hmm, the Koopa you mentioned earlier, brother... could he be Alexander von Koopa?

Wraith Guy: Yeah. Why do you ask?

Death: I faced him most recently. No thanks to him, the Belmont, the Belnade, and Master Alucard, they foiled my plan to fully resurrect Lord Dracula.

Succubus starts to wake up upon the mentioning of Belmont.

Wraith Guy: Well, you're only partly right. That's just him from the... On second thought, I'll leave it a surprise.

Death: Alright, we'll keep it between us, since I know as well... But just how did he get here?

Wraith Guy: Whatever happened to killing your son? Or are you so distracted with Mr. von Koopa that you completely forgot your evil plan?

Death: Right, I-

Death looks down at the pedestal Nathaniel was on and notices that the ropes are cut and that he is gone.

Death: WHERE THE HELL DID HE GO!?!?

Meanwhile, Nathaniel and the little girl from Main Street are running down a nearly endless flight of stairs.

Nathaniel: Thank you for getting me out of that mess!

Little Girl: ...

Nathaniel: Not much of a talker, eh?

Little Girl: I'm sorry, but I can not allow darkness to win, not just yet.

Wraith Guy: So much for your evil plan.

Death: DON'T JUST STAND THERE, GO AFTER HI- ... on second thought, this gives me the perfect oppurtunity to try something out.

Death claps his boney hands together and starts chanting an enil incantation. The room the evil doers are in suddenly grows dark and quickly travels out of the room, after Nathaneil.

Meanwhile, about 1/5 of the way down, the little girl and Nathaniel stop inside a large room with hieroglyphs all over the walls.

Nathanie: I'm so tired...

Litlle Girl: We can't stop we have to ke-

The Little Girl turns around and notices the large shadowy mass entering and covering the whole room.

Nathaniel: What's happening!?

Little Girl: A dark presence... don't move.

OOC: Does that mean it takes Death and Wraith Guy with it?

OOC: No, it's just summoning...

IC:

The black mass starts to gather around Nathaniel and he does his best not to move, even though he thinks he sees several opportunities to escape. His shadow suddenly streaches out before him and a large, black mass about his height rises up from the shadow. After several minutes, the black mass disappears and standing before Nathaniel is an exact look alike with black hands and monochrome coloration. The "clone" opens it's demon eyes and looks up at Nathaniel. It smiles a devilishly toothy grin and glares at him.

Nathaniel: Wh-what is it?

Little Girl: It's your shadow...

Wraith Guy's eye holes start glowing, giving him a second point of view where he can see everything going on with Nathaniel and co.

Nathaniel: What do we do?

Shadow Nathaniel: Ahahahaha!

Nathaniel: What the heck are you laughing at!?

The shadow suddenly disappear and reappears infront of Nathaniel with a claw held close to his neck. The little girl manages to catch this in time and throws the shadow into a wall telekinetically. The shadow simply laughs and sinks into the shadows.

Nathaniel: What the heck was that!?

Little: I'm a witch... a very powerful witch.

Nathaniel: ... So what is your name?

Anita: ... Anita.

Nathaniel: Alright Anita, lets go!

Nathaniel picks Anita up and continues to run down the flight of stairs from before.

Anita: I'll do my best to protect us from your shadow, but he may pop up out of no where.

Wraith Guy continues to watch, though he could easily teleport in front of Nathaniel and Anita and stop them in their tracks.
