The Floating Island (Cave Story)

Scourge uppercuts Morbul, then kicks him in the chest.

Morbul chuckles.
Morbul: You can attack me for the rest of your days if you wish, boy.

Scourge: And why's that?

Morbul: You can't kill me.

Scourge: Same here.
Miles: I think he really means it.
Scourge: Oh.

The fire around Morbul's hands intensifies.

Scourge backs away.

The ground under Scourge's feet starts shaking.

Scourge runs from where he was.

A Demon Head bursts from the ground where Scourge was.

Boomer blasts the Demon Head.

The Demon Head turns to Boomer and rockets towards him.

Alicia wraps her whip around the Demon Head's eyes, blinding it.

The Demon Head flies around Alicia in a circle.

Boomer blasts the Demon Head again, knocking it away from Alicia.

It flies towards Boomer, dragging Alicia (who still has her whip wrapped around the Demon Head) behind it.

Alicia lets go of the whip, which is still covering the Demon's Head's eyes and should therefore keep it from seeing Boomer.

It's hard to tell which is more dangerous; a Demon Head that can see or a Demon Head that can. The Demon Head rockets in Boomer's general direction.

Boomer runs out of the way.

The Demon Head flies all around the Mimiga Village, trying to hit the Supression Squad.

Scourge:...Oh, forget this! SUPPRESSION SQUAD, FALL BACK!
The SS members run towards the portal leading back to Moebius. Patch then runs back into the village.
Patch: VAIT FOR ME!

The Demon Head crashes into Patch.

Patch is sent flying into the portal, which the other SS members run into.

The Demon Head disappears as Morbul heads to Arthur's house.

The portal to Moebius closes.
