The Zoom Tube obviously brings the group to the Hidden Palace, which is filled with artifacts.

The sisters start grabbing random artifacts.

After grabbing an armful of artifacts, the sisters walk up to Knuckles.

Flare: Thanks again for helping us!

Alicia: We promise that we won't steal the Master Emerald!

Stare: Let's just hope that Fool accepts these...

Flare: How are we supposed to leave? The blimp was destroyed and we have no way of the island.

Alicia is silent for a moment.

Alicia: OH SON OF A...

Before Alicia could finish, a black hole opens up on the ground beside the sisters.

Stare: Huh?

Alicia: What is that?

Flare looks over the edge of the black hole.

Flare: It doesn't look like it leads any where.

Alicia sneaks up behind Flare and kicks her into the black hole.

Stare: Alicia!

Alicia: What?

Meanwhile, Knuckles heads back to the Master Emerald Shrine.

Tikal: Wha...?

Darkling jumps over the punch, lands behind Chaos, and stabs him in his brain thing. This not only damages Chaos but gives Darkling more of Chaos's life force.

Chaos grabs Darkling by the throat and starts repeatedly whacking him against a tree.
