The Floating Island (Cave Story)

Peter: I think I just learned who are they working for, Jim. *holds up a SSBB Strategy Guide*

Earthworm Jim: You learned them from a book?

Peter: They're called the Subspace Army.

Earthworm Jim: SO! That's their game is it?! We'll track them down even if they try to kill us! *whips out his Pocket Rocket as he and Peter gets on.* Need a ride Kumatora?

Kumatora: Sure.
Kumatora enters the rocket.

*Chack'n does the same. The Pocket Rocket left the topic.*

Meanwhile...
Misery: You haven't done anything for a while. When people do that, it usually means they're planning something big. So, what's up?
Morbul: We're going to use this island...
Misery: As a floating fortress while we send troops down to take over the world. I know. I've heard this one before.
Morbul: ... That was not what I was going to say. We are going to use it as a weapon. More specifically, crash it into the planet.

Misery is silent for a few seconds.
Misery: To do that, you'd have to destroy the Core. And it's one tough cookie, even for you.
Morbul smirks.
Morbul: Who said I was going to destroy it?
Misery: Yeah, Balrog and I can't do it either, due to the curse, so-
Morbul: I was not talking about you.

*Nothing happens.*

Morbul: But first, we'd better make sure a certain "friend" of mine knows I'm still here... Why don't you go find him and say hello?
Misery: Fine.
Misery disappears, leaving the topic, while Balrog flies out.

Misery and Balrog reenter the topic.

Morbul: What could be taking him? I would expect that Alex would track you two down and come here... It appears I overestimated him once again. Well, if Muhammed won't come to the mountain...
Morbul leaves the topic.

Morbul reenters the topic.

Every member of the White Platoon (counting Julius, Merloco, and Yoko) get teleported to Mimiga Village. A plothole repairs the Vampire Killer.

Merloco appears in the middle of the group.

Merloco: Here we are! I still can't believe I managed to master that teleportation spell all those years ago.

Julius just put up the Vampire Killer when all of a sudden his cellphone started ringing. He pulls it out and answers it.

Julius: Arikado?

Arikado on the other line: Where are you all? I'm having problems keeping a clear signal.

Julius: We're at a place called the Floating Island.

Arikado: Okay then, I'll stay here and send you any information I find out about the island. *Hangs up.*

Alex looks around Mimiga Village and sees no sign of Morbul. Curly and Quote see the White Platoon and question marks appear over their heads.

Merloco spots Quote and Curly and walks up to them.

Merloco: Excuse me, have you seen a black Yoshi with a blood red cloak around here?

Quote shakes his head no.
Curly: We did see a man with a blood red cloak. I'm not sure if he was a Yoshi...

Merloco: *Sigh.* Did he look like some kind of lizard?

Curly: The cloak covered him so that we couldn't see a thing. I'm not sure...
Meanwhile...
Morbul: They've probably arrived by now. Balrog! Misery! Go give them a warm welcome. And while you're at it, distract them from the Sand Zone.
Misery: ... Fine.
Misery and Balrog leave the temple.

Merloco: Hmm... Well, we can't just go after anyone with a blood red cloak.

Julius: So what do you suggest we do?

Alex: Well, I recommend...
Voice from Shack: GAAAAAAH!

Merloco: What the heck is that?

Julius: Oh lord, don't tell me...

Alex: I reccomend going in there.
Alex and the rest of the White Platoon enter the Shack.

Merloco, Julius, and Yoko follow the members inside.

The shack is empty, except for a radio that appears to be making the screaming sounds.

Julius prepares to destroy the radio.

Alex just goes over to the radio and turns it off.
Alex: Well, that was a waste of...
Voice: HUZZAH!
Balrog breaks through the ceiling. Alex swears as Balrog lands right on top of him.
