The Floating Island (Cave Story)

The Critters die before they can drop onto the group.

Merloco: That was easy.

Curly: They're just Critters. Really easy to take care of in general.

Merloco: Hmm... *Pulls out him Tattle Log and scribbles some info into it.* Any other creatures that are possibly dangerous around here?

Curly: Well, in Grasstown, there are the Power Critters, Jellies, Mannan, and Frogs...
Quote sees something above the group and nudges Curly.
Curly: What?
Quote points towards the sky. Curly and the White Platoon look up to see several Jellies surrounding a King Jelly.

Merloco: Oh crap... *Blasts the King Jelly with a Fireball.*

The shot hits one of the Jellies forming a shield instead.

Merloco: Darn it! We'll have to take out the smaller ones!

My characters start attacking the Jellies.

As do my other characters. The Jellies, having no form of attack other than running into people, just get killed.

My characters continue their attack until there are no more Jellies.

King Jelly descends and lands on top of Alex repeatedly. Alex slices King Jelly as he comes down.
Alex: Why is it I'm always the one things fall on?

Merloco: I'm surprised they don't react to that spiked shell of yours.

Alex: Well, they're falling on my head, not my shell.
Alex slashes the King Jelly one more time. Said King Jelly explodes, leaving behind a treasure chest.

Merloco: Alex, you can open it. You deserve it.

Alex opens it and a bottle of Jellyfish Juice pops out. A text box appears in the sky.
Text Box: Alex got *Jellyfish Juice*!
The text box disappears after a few seconds.

Merloco: ... "Jellyfish Juice"?

Alex: I have no idea.
Alex puts the Jellyfish Juice in his shell.

Merloco: I suggest we don't use it any time soon.

White Platoon, minus Duma, Cameron, and Erix: Seconded.
Curly just sighs, seeing as the White Platoon has no intention of knowing what Jellyfish Juice does.

Merloco: Now with that out of the way, we need to find those two again and force them to tell us where Morbul is.

Dr. Y: Yeah, but where are we going to find them?

Merloco: We may have to split up and search the town. That last attack may have hurt the tv... thing and it may need to recooperate. That should give us plenty of time.

Alex looks over Grasstown, noting it's more "Grass" than "town".
Alex: Well, it's a pretty crap town, so it shouldn't take long.

My characters seperate and start to look through the "town".

My characters separate as well (well, Cameron follows John, but hey, it's still separation). Power Critters and bats watch from the shadows.
