Gotham City (Batman)

The gas goes to Shellbyville instead.
Scarecrow: Why, oh why, must Shellbyville be in such an inconvinient location?

Nightwing: I'm sure they can deal with it.

Scarecrow: I'm afraid so. Did you hear Shellbyville recently got a giant fan?
The Fear Gas gets blown back to Gotham.

But the giant fan in Gotham blows the Fear Gas back, conveniently trapping the gas between both cities.

Incredibly loud screaming is heard in both Gotham and Shellbyville.

Nightwing runs off. Meanwhile, Bruce and Tim hear the screams as well.
Bruce: What the...?

Scarecrow shoots Nightwing in the back.

Nightwing collapses and struggles to get back up. Meanwhile, Barbara also hears the screaming and looks outside a window.

Scarecrow: Scared you, didn't I?
Scarecrow goes back into his warehouse as the Fear Gas starts to fill Nightwing's lungs. Meanwhile, people are running around the streets in panic.

Nightwing sees the taunting hallucination of Batman again. Meanwhile, Barbara gets on her Batgirl suit and rushes out of Gotham University.

The escort van containing Ripper is among the cars stopped in the streets due to panicy citizens seeing their fears.

Batgirl starts swinging across buildings with the Batgrapple.

A crazy person affected by Fear Gas grabs a baseball bat and starts bashing in car windshields.

Batgirl, who's passing by, throws a Batarang at the hand holding the bat.

The bat falls to the ground as the person clutches his hand in pain.

Batgirl keeps going, conveniently heading to Scarecrow's house.

Naturally, most of the Fear Gas is around there. In fact, it fills the interior of the house.

Batgirl covers her mouth and nose, realizes that the Fear Gas is coming from the house, and drops in front of it.

Scarecrow brews more Fear Gas.

Batgirl sneaks into the house.

Scarecrow aims his Fear Gas gun at Batgirl.

Batgirl: Wow. You've gotten better at finding us, Scarecrow.

Scarecrow: Actually, your boyfriend broke in not five minutes ago. I'm not exactly surprised to see you here.

Batgirl: Nightwing? Where is he?

Scarecrow: On the roof, scared out of his mind.
