Dr. Leland stops by one of the cells and knocks on it.
Voice: Yeeeeeeeeeeah?
Dr. Leland: I need you to come with me.
Voice: Right-a-roonie!
Dr. Leland opens the door and Harley Quinn comes skipping out of the cell.

OOC: It's really hard to make text sound like Harley Quinn.

Gasps are heard in the background.
Voice: Who left this television on?

Security Guard 84: STEVE!
Dr. Leland leads Harley (by the arm) towards Ripper's cell.

Security Guard 53: IT'S NOT MY FAULT! YOU KNOW I HAVE A SHORT ATTENTION SPAN!

Security Guard 73: I thought that was Carl.
Meanwhile, Harley is led into Ripper's cell and left in there with him.
Harley: They tell me ya got a problem.
Ripper: It's about time they figured it out...
Ripper looks up.
Ripper: Good to see you again, Harl.
Harley tilts her head in confusion.

*Kunari and Akira are at the bar.*

Akira: Ya know, I think we're going to stay here for a while.

Kunari: No. We just came here for a drink before we can catch up with them. Now, what do you want?

Akira: Root beer.

Kunari: Same for me.

Ripper: No doubt the years have changed me... but perhaps you will recognize me without the attire.
Ripper removes his top hat and monocle, revealing the face of Jackie Cooper underneath.
Harley: Uh... NOPE! Not ringing any bells!
Ripper: Jackie Cooper? We met in college? I was your partner in psychology?
Harley: Oh, yeah! You.
Ripper: After I found out that you were being held here with other, genuine loonies, I was outraged. I had to talk to you, somehow, but those cretins wouldn't let me see you!
Ripper slams his fist against a wall in anger.

Killer Croc snores again.

Ripper: But now we're together, my sweet, and together we can find a way out of this wretched asylum and wreak havoc on the world that unjustly imprisoned us here.
Harley pretends to think for a second.
Harley: Buzz off, ya creep!
Ripper turns to Harley.
Ripper: Beg your pardon?
Harley: Mister J's my only sweetheart, and if you think you're gonna replace him, YOU'RE DEAD WRONG!
Harley gives a hearty "hmph" and walks out of the cell, mumbling about how she's never been so insulted in all her life. She is then grabbed by Dr. Leland and led back to her cell as Ripper is left brokenhearted and silent.

A random crazy person laughs at Ripper.

He will be found dead in two hours.
Ripper: Reject me for this "Mister J", hmm? That can only mean The Joker. And we'll see who has the last laugh in Gotham...
Ripper chuckles softly, slowly increasing volume and intensity until he reaches full crazy laughter mode.

Unfortunately, Killer Croc's snoring soon drowns out Ripper's laughing.

Ripper suddenly stops laughing.
Ripper: And this is why I hate lizards.

Meanwhile, a plane lands in Gotham and someone wearing a trenchcoat and hat steps out.

OOC: It's Bane.

The Black Cats gang somehow find their way into Gotham City.

Alicia: What kind of place is this?

Flare: Oh wow! This place is huge!

Stare: ... How exactly did we get here?

Alicia: We walked here. Duh. It doesn't take rocket science to figure that part out.

Stare: ...

Alicia: Come on girls, there has to be some way we can get back to that weird village.

The Black Cats Gang heads towards the docks.

Kunari: *sees the Black Cats Gang* HEY YOU!!

The Black Cats Gang immediately stops.

Kunari: You just almost stepped on the reset button.

Alicia looks down and sees the reset button.

Alicia: ... And?

Kunari: And if you stepped on the reset button, the city will--

Akira: What's the big deal? It's just a button. I mean what could possibly go-- *steps on the Reset button.*

*As a result, the blackout occured in Gotham City. It turned back on after 30 seconds.*

*RUMBLE!!*

Alicia: ... Great, and I thought Flare was an airhead.

*Mr. Resetti pops up angirly*

Mr. Resetti: GRAAAAAAAAAHH!!! ALL OF YOU, BLUE IN THE FACES... AND YOU ALL STILL DON'T GET IT!! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU ALL?! NO RESET, THAT MEANS ALL OF YOU!!!

Akira: But.. O_O;; I never met you--

Mr. Resetti: Shut up! Don't interrupt. You people don't get the fact that resetting is extremely bad for you, right? RIGHT?! AND YOU STILL DIDN'T LISTEN A SINGLE WORD WHAT I SAID!!!

Flare: We should get out of here.

Alicia: Good idea.

The Black Cats Gang tip toe away.

*Mr. Resetti's lecture isn't done yet. He pulls out Wonderwoman's lasso he borrowed and pulls the Black Cats Gang over.*

Mr. Resetti: I'm not done yet... MORONS!! Ya know why resetting is bad? You do that, all your hard work is gone and you had to start all over. It's bad enough that a bunch of lobsters and crabs pinching my butt and start saying, "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" And see? The pain can't reset.

Akira: But--

Mr. Resetti: AND EVERYTIME THERE IS A THUNDERSTORM, THE FREAKIN' POWER RESETTED!

Kunari: ...Uh.. Akira reset by stepping on that button.*

Mr. Resetti: OH? So the dingbat did it huh? *gets out a megaphone* HEY EVERYBODY! HE JUST RESET THE WHOLE THING UP! LET'S ALL LAUGH AT HIS STUPIDTY AND REMOVE HIS DIGNITY!!!
