Gabomba (Origional)

Gabomba is a small tribal village inhabited by a clan of vodoo goombas that worship their diety, Gabomboa. Their tribe leader is called the Bokor(male)/Mambo(female), and "serves the Gabomboa with both hands", meaning they practice both light and dark magic. The Bokor/Mambo is also the tribe's witch doctor and is endowed with the sacred magic that they must recieve from the Gabomboa during the Leadership Test. After the Bokor/Mambo retires, they become the Village Elder, but this doesn't mean much eccept for a 20% store discount.

Gabomba is split up into four sections: The Village, the Shrine, the Graveyard, and the Ruined Steeple.

The Village is where the villagers live in huts that resemble houses from Twilight Town. There is a Shop, and Inn, as well as a couple houses, including the Bokor/Mambo's residence.

The Shrine is north of the village and consists of a large statue of the Gabomboa. This is where the Leadership Test takes place.

The Graveyard is south of the village and consists of many tombstones and crypts, some of which lead into hidden catacombs.

The Ruined Steeple is to the east of the Village and used to resemble the Creepy Steeple. Dark, malevolent spirits thrive there, so it is closed off, only accessible by the Tribe Leader.

The current Tribe Leader of Gabomba is Akafubu, who took over after Goomamboma retired.

Three days ago...

All of the villagers are crowded around the Statue of Gabomba as they watch to see if Akafubu will be worthy of becoming their Leader.

After the Mambo starts the ritual, Akafubu walks up to the Shrine and concentrates deeply: if he can make a green aura surround the statue, he will suceed, if it is a black aura, he shall fail, and failure is only the start of terrible things. If he does not pass, this means that the town will be cursed and plauged until the true leader can please the Gabomboa.

"I can do this..." Akafubu thinks to himself as the chanting continues, and suddenly... an aura, and it's green!

The crowd cheers and the Mambo hands him her staff, Akafubu has now become the Bokor.

The present day...

Gabomba is back to normal and the villagers are back to their everyday life now that the Leadership Ceremony has been completed.

Necros enters the topic.

OOC: That's five Reeka points for you for getting the first part correct! You can spend them at U. Reeka's Lab, that is, if I made the topic and he wasn't retired.

IC:

The villagers are still villaging, though one notices Necros. He starts shouting, but unfortunatley, no one else in Gabomba speaks Simlish and just ignore him. I'm just' chock full of references to other things today!

OOC: "He?"

OOC: Yes, the one that spotted Necros. though one notices Necros. He starts shouting...

OOC: I thought you said "no one notices Necros." My bad.

IC:

Necros twirls his wand around and the villager that noticed him burst into flame.
Necros: Clumsy me. Clumsy you.

OOC: It's alright.

Someone starts singing Sweet Caroline because what Necros said reminded them of the song.

This causes the villagers to stop villaging and stare.

Necros looks at the visitors.
Necros: What? Haven't you seen a man on fire before?

Random Goomba: He has point. WE EAT!

*Many villagers stare at the random Goomba angrily*

Random Goomba: Okay... so we go to Hometown Buffet!

Another Random Goomba with dark blue skin: (to Necros) What we can do for you?

Necros: Burn.
Necros waves his wand in the air, creating several fireballs in the sky that fall towards the villagers.

The villagers all start to scream. Akafubu then rushes out of his hut.

Akafubu: You there! What be you purpose in Gabomba?

Necros: Chaos! Destruction! Death! You know, the usual.

Akafubu: Well, I be afraid dat not happen.

Akafubu shoots a blast of magic at Necros.

Necros floats into the air and out of the way.
Necros: Neat trick.

Akafubu keeps shooting magic at Necros.

Akafubu: I be de Bokor of Gambomba! You not be beat'n me!

Necros is hit by about half the magic blasts, but dodges the rest.
Necros: Here's my cool trick.
With some waving of the wand, a small ring of magic surrounds Akafubu.

Akafubu surrounds himself with a ring of skulls to try and protect himself.

If the skulls are over the ring of magic, a large magic beam erupts from the edges of said ring, annihilating the skulls.

Realizing the skull idea was stupid, Akafubu disapears into the shadows, trying to shake off the small ring, and then reapears behind Necros, blasting him with more magic.

The ring is not fooled and shoots a powerful magic beam at Akafubu. Necros quickly sinks into the shadows to avoid it.

Akafubu is hit, but surrounds himself with a dark aura.

OOC: It's too bad he isn't as good as Mambo, but then again, she's been around longer than he has. (That and I don't want to make him too powerful because he is still new to his power.)

The beam tries to break through the dark aura.

But the beam ends up bouncing off the dark aura.

Meanwhile the Mambo is reading a book when she gets a vision.

Mambo: I be know'n dis might happen. But he must do it himself, he de Bokor now...

Mambo then goes back to reading.

The beam then flies by Mambo.
