The Rotten Rabbit Tavern

Meanwhile, Julius, Arikado, and a reluctant Yoko enter the topic. Julius peeks into the bar through the window and spies Aya tied up.

Julius: I see her.

Arikado: Good. Should we just barge in and save her?

Julius: Why not? It looks like we can take them.

Julius kicks the bar doo down.

Old Man Sam, the Destructix, and every unregistered character in the bar all stare at Julius.

The proximity mines surrounding Aya enter "alert" mode.

Julius walks into the bar, followed by Arikado, who seems calm.

Aya: Arikado!

Arikado: Aya...

Aya: Well, you seem as brilliant as ever. How did it go in that castle?

Arikado: The mission was a success.

Aya: That's great, now could you get me untied while avoiding the mines?

Julius: Where is the guy responsible for tying her up?

None of my characters, nor any unregistered characters, say anything.

Julius: You have until the count of five before I tear this place apart, plank by plank.

1...

Julius: 2...

Random Thug: We don't even know where Ramses is, though.

Julius: So he is the one responsible for this. Then we will just wait for him here.

Uxie puts the newspaper down to look at the person threatening to tear down the tavern... despite having its eyes closed.

Yoko walks into the bar and sees Uxie. A bit startled, she takes a step back.

Yoko: What is that?

Arikado: *Looks at Uxie.* No clue. It doesn't appear to be a demon.

Uxie goes back to reading the newspaper.

Ramses enters the Rotten Rabbit.

Yoko, Arikado, and Julius turn around and look at Ramses.

Julius: Are you Ramses?

Ramses: What's it to you?

Julius: The fact that you have our friend tied up.

Shadling does his best to ignore this and orders a beer.

Old Man Sam tosses a beer to Shadling.

Shadling pays Old Man Sam and begins to drink his beer.

Ramses looks over to Aya, then back at Julius.
Ramses: So I do.

Julius: Untie her. Now.

Ramses: I'm afraid that can't be done. You see, she's worth a pretty penny, and I refuse to let oppertunity slip through my grasp.

Arikado: Who exactly wants her?

Ramses: Doesn't matter. All that matters is what she's worth.

Julius readies his whip.

Julius: Well we're afraid that we can't let you cash in on her.
