Main Street (Aura of the Moon)

Several black meteors rain down from the sky and crash down in Main Street.

OOC: You asked for it.

OOC: DAIMN IT!!!

The meteors melt away, revealing several Gloom soldiers and The Ranger.

It's 8:00 AM and Maria wakes up.

The Gloom soldiers twist off to suck the light away from Main Street.

Maria opens her curtains and notices that their is no light.

Maria: What's going on!? Is there a power outage?

The light in Maria's house goes off as The Ranger enters.

Maria gasps as she tries to walk around in her room, trying to find her way out and occasionally bumping into stuff.

The Ranger's eyes are more adjusted to the dark, so he has a much easier time heading towards Maria's room.

Maria manages to find the door and opens it.

Maria: Now to get out and see what's going on.

Unknown to Maria, The Ranger is right in front of her.

She walks straight ahead and bumps into the Ranger.

Maria: What's going on? I don't remember anything being in front of he door.

The Ranger pulls out his twin katanas.

Maria manages to hear the sound of the katanas being drawn.

Maria: W-who is there!?

The Ranger slashes Maria.

Maria screams in pain and falls down. She then passes out.

The Ranger leaves Maria's body and walks out of the house to observe the other Gloom soldiers and make sure they aren't doing anything they aren't supposed to.

Six reapers appear before he Ranger and ready their scythes.

Reaper 1: You there! What do you think you're doing!?

The Ranger says nothing.

Reaper 1: Silent treatment, ey? Well that won't for long!

The reapers charge in and attempt to slice the Ranger at the same time.

The Ranger weaves away from the scythes, which should slash the Reapers.

The scythes instead clash at the same time.

Reaper 2: What the-!?

The reapers pull back and manage to get their scythes uncaught. One of the reapers turns to the Ranger and throws his scythe at him.

The Ranger catches the scythe and throws it back at the Reaper's head.

The reaper ducks and another reaper knocks the scythe out of the air. The latter reaper runs and jumps off the back of the first reaper. He raises his scythe high into the air and then swings it at the Ranger's head.

The Ranger slides under the Reaper, leaps into the air, and attempts to kick the Reaper to the ground.
