Shibuya, Tokyo (The World Ends With You)

The other Carcinofolk jumps at Shiwi and hits him.
Shiwi: OW!
Suddenly, red portals appear around Shiwi and red, Noise-like wolves evidently under his control leap out onto the Carcinofolk and rip it apart.

<Paper Mario> ...Not sure what that's about, but I'll take it.

In the other zone, Joshua and Waluigi are surprised as one raging Carcinofolk (the same one that Shiwi's Wolf Noises attacked) disappeared.
<Joshua> I suppose my partner handled that one.
The remaining Dixiefrogs jumped at Waluigi, but he sidestepped them, and kicked them hard with his long legs. The Dixiefrogs were destroyed.

The other Dogs of Wrath (that's their name, don't wear it out) attack anything else that comes near Shiwi.

The remaining two Carcinofolks received a full blow from Shiwi's Dogs of Wrath, being destroyed. After that, Joshua, Shiwi, Paper Mario, and Waluigi were pulled out of the battle zones and back into the UG.

<OOC> "Dogs of Wrath"? Where's the music term in that name? It doesn't really make sense for a Noise to not have a music term.

Back in the UG, the four got back together.
<Paper Mario> Wow. Nice job there.
Joshua eyes Shiwi suspiciously.
<Joshua> Still...how does a Reaper die and become a Player?

OOC: Shiwi's not supposed to be a Player. He's supposed to be just a Reaper, but he was so scared of Joshua he became a player or something like that. Oh, and the more powerful attacks Shiwi can pull off (when paniced) are named after the Seven Deadly Sins, one of which is Wrath. That, and I can't make a music pun to save my life.

IC:

One of the Dogs of Wrath runs up to Shiwi and starts licking him.
Shiwi: Go away...
The Dog of Wrath ignores Shiwi.
Shiwi: I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE!
Shiwi telekinetically throws the Dog of Wrath into the distance. He then realizes that Waluigi, Paper Mario, and Joshua all saw that and turns around to explain... as best he can.
Shiwi: My history with those dogs is... complicated.

<Waluigi> Y-eah, I'm sure.
Paper Mario's Mailbox SP then rings.
<Paper Mario> ???
<Joshua> Ah! That sounds like our first mission.
Paper Mario answers his Mailbox SP, and Joshua checks his cell phone.
<Paper Mario> "Go to 104. You have 60 minutes. Fail and face erasure. - The Reapers"
Just then, Paper Mario, Waluigi, and maybe Shiwi felt a burn on their hand. Waluigi looked and saw a 60-minute timer on the palm of his hand.
<Waluigi> What's this??
<Joshua> That's the timer. If someone who took the mission doesn't get to 104 in time, that Player's team gets erased from the Game.
<Paper Mario> Ohh, that's lovely.

Shiwi indeed gets burned, letting out a yelp when it happens.
Shiwi: GREAT! I forgot where that is... I'm so screwed...

<Joshua> You really don't know? Sigh...
Joshua points straight north, right at the big building with the Q-Floor (the TV screen showing the latest trend).
<Joshua> That's the 104 Building.
The four then proceed towards the 104 Building. Since it's not a far ways off, it shouldn't take long.

Shiwi follows them, wondering if it's "trendy" to say the word sigh out loud now.

The four reached the 104 building. A gentle chiming sound was heard, and Waluigi checked his hand.
<Waluigi> ...That timer's gone!
Paper Mario checked his hand. His timer is also gone.
<Joshua> Nicely done for the first day. Don't expect the next six to be so easy.
<Paper Mario> The next six?
<Joshua> Hee hee. That's right, every Reapers' Game is a week long. Though I must say, this game's first mission is very unoriginal.

Shiwi: I'll say.
Canned gasps of surprise are heard in the background due to Shiwi saying something that isn't a result of his low self-esteem or paranoia.

Meanwhile, inside the Dead God's Pad, a tall shady man with semi-long black hair, a snake-skin jacket, sunglasses, and red headphones is approached by a female secretary dressed in a kindly, formal black-and-white dress.
<Secretary> Mr. Kitaniji, it appears that there are two teams working with each other in this game. I'm particularly keen on one of the teams--it has a Reaper in it.
<Shady Man> Hmm, yes. Shiwi, was it?
<Secretary> Right...I'm quite surprised that a Reaper actually died and became a Player. Mr. Kitaniji, as the Game Master, I would like to look into this further.
The shady man, Megumi Kitaniji, just shook his head calmly.
<Kitaniji> You needn't worry, Ms. Konishi. Just keep watch, like you would with any game.
The secretary, Mitsuki Konishi, gave a courteous bow and left.

<OOC> I'll do the next day soon.

OOC: K. In the meantime, this gives me a perfect oppertunity to (indirectly) introduce a new character...

IC:

Voice: Well, well, well. Look who's here, boys.
Shiwi turns around to see several Support Reapers wearing light blue hoodies.
Support Reaper: Looks like the human chicken was too much of a wimp to be a Harrier, so he decided to hide behind some Players.

--THE SECOND DAY--

Waluigi gets up and yawns.
<Waluigi> Hmm...? Did we fall asleep or something?
He checks his Mailbox DS, and notices that a whole day has gone by since they finished the mission.
<Waluigi> Uhhhh...Guys guys guys!!!
Waluigi wakes up Paper Mario and Shiwi.
<Waluigi> We've been asleep for about a day!
<Paper Mario> *yawn* You're kidding, right?
They then see Joshua nearby, talking on his cell phone.
<Joshua> ...Yes, I know. It's surprising that Kitaniji is back, but maybe he's here on a second chance?

OOC: ... Isn't having Shiwi be asleep character control? Whatever.

IC:

The blue-hoodied Support Reapers from Day 1 have now disappeared.

<OOC> Well, since a day has gone by, wouldn't all the Players be asleep until then? That's the Reapers' Game for ya.

OOC: Yes, but... oh, never mind. I don't want this to turn into an argument, especially since Zec is going to ban me if I say anything that hurts your feelings.

<Paper Mario> Erm...Joshua?
Joshua sees Paper Mario waving to him.
<Joshua> Y-eah, just a sec. New guy wants my attention.
Joshua holds his hand on the mouthpiece of his phone, and looks to Paper Mario.
<Joshua> Yes...?
<Paper Mario> A day just went by! Is that normal?
<Joshua> Of course. Usually, when the mission is completed, we go on standby for the next day. That's how my Game works.

Shiwi says nothing, thinking to himself about what the blue-hoodied Reapers wanted, if anything.

<Joshua> ...So anyway, it looks like we're at A-East.
Sure enough, they were in the middle of the street near the concert hall and the Lapin Angelique store. At the entrance of the concert hall leaned a peculiar black-hoodied Reaper. Just then, Waluigi's Mailbox DS rang.
<Waluigi> "Defeat the master of A-East. You have 300 minutes. Cost of failure: expunction."
He and Paper Mario felt the burn of the timer on their hands.
<Joshua> There's your timer.
<Paper Mario> You're not gonna check your phone?
<Joshua> Well, Shiwi and I can't play the mission unless we check our mission mail.

Though he's not good at being a Harrier, Shiwi is not stupid, and he's sure to know who the master of A-East is. That is, if he didn't forget, and just to make sure, Shiwi closes his eyes while searching his brain for who the master of A-East is.

OOC: You don't need to tell me who the master is. I already know (unless it was changed from the game).

<OOC> It's now Pteropus Cantus LOL. But, yeah, set-up's the same.

Shiwi suddenly opens his eyes.
Shiwi: Good news, guys. I think I may have saved you the trouble of figuring out who the "Master" of A-East is.

<Joshua> Oh? Hee hee. Do tell.

Shiwi: It's this really big golden bat... or was it that other golden bat? Hmmm... I know it was a bat of some kind...
