The Floating Island (Cave Story)

Quote gets an idea and runs off, followed shortly by Curly.
Alex: Wait... I think that robot has an idea!
Alex bolts after him, followed by the official members of the White Platoon (that I registered).

Merloco and my other two follow.

Quote and my other characters get to a sand pit. Quote pulls out his Land Shark Gun and fires a Land Shark into the sand pit. The Sandcroc in the pit chases after the Land Shark, who swims around to distract it.

Merloco: This is our chance!

Merloco: Yoko, and Julius jump into the sand pit.

The White Platoon follows. All come out in the middle of a long pathway. The footprints of a Mimiga are seen going one direction, following the footprints of something much larger.

OOC: Hugo again?

OOC: ... What?

If you're referring to the big monster Mimiga, his name's Igor.

OOC: Darn. I keep forgetting his name! *smack my own head.*

Merloco: Lets go!

Merloco starts to follow the tracks.

Julius: Wait a minute, what if there are traps down here?

Alex: The annoying girl probably triggered them.
The White Platoon follows the tracks while various crocodile heads watch.

Merloco continues to follow the tracks, followed by Yoko and Julius.

Eventually, the group comes across Sue confronting Igor.
Sue: Right, you big bully! You'd better give everyone back, or else!
Igor roars at Sue.
Sue: Oh, so it's a fight, eh? Well, BRING IT!
Igor walks up to Sue and punches her in the stomach.
Sue: OW! You win, you win!
Igor punches Sue again!
Sue: Hey, stop it!
Igor punches Sue again.
Sue: I already said you won!
Alex does nothing to help Sue.

Yoko: Hey! Don't you know it's impolite to hit a lady?

Yoko runs towards Igor and kicks him in the face.

In retaliation, Igor punches Yoko. I don't think I need to say that this hurts.
Alex: HEY!
Alex leaps up to Igor and kicks him in the face, somehow knocking the brute to the ground. Igor growls, then gets up and charges at Alex, who realizes close combat with Igor was not exactly the smartest idea.

Julius throws several daggers at Igor's feet.

Igor leaps over the daggers and punches Alex in the face, sending the latter flying back. Getting a better idea, Alex gets out his SMG and shoots at Igor, who continues charging at him.

Yoko casts several lightning balls at Igor.

Igor staggers back under the constant weapon fire. Quote pulls out his Shift Laser and blasts Igor, knocking Igor into a nearby sand pit.

Merloco casts a spell where the sand pit starts to sink faster and causes it to increase in range.

A Sandcroc leaps out of the pit and bites Igor, who flails wildly in pain. Alex takes careful aim at Igor's head.

Merloco: Do it!

Alex fires at Igor's brain... and misses. However, he does hit Igor in the left eye just as he gets dragged down by the Sandcroc.

Merloco casts another spell where the sand pit closes up and turns into normal... sand.

Merloco: That should hold him.

The sound of someone pounding at the sand is heard as Alex backs away.

Merloco: Or... not... I think now is the best time to run away.
