The Gloom soldiers keep ignoring Toxin, though their patience runs thin.

Toxin: Alright, fine, ignore me.

The Gloom soldiers do so while sucking away what traces of light they can find.

Peter gets back into his costume, then swings outside.
Spider-Man: Alright, what's going on around here?

The Gloom soldiers ignore Spider-Man.

Spider-Man sprays webbing around some of the Gloom Soldiers.
Spider-Man: Come on, guys. Ignoring someone isn't very nice!

Toxin: They have been Ignoring me, too.

The Gloom soldiers slink out of the webbing.

Spider-Man turns to Toxin.
Spider-Man: So I see.
Spider-Man then webslings down to one of the Gloom Soldiers and kicks them in the face.

Toxin: Also, I tried blowing them up. Three times in a row. Nothing happened! They just reformed.

The Gloom Soldiers all kick Spidey in the face at the same time.

Toxin looks for an object that creates light.

OOC: Once again, artificial light cannot defeat them.

OOC: I know, but Toxin is going to try and lead them out of the topic.

OOC: Here's how Gloom psychology regarding light works;
If it produces light, they flock to it. If they consume it and it kills them, they know to go after it. If they consume it, but it does nothing, they ignore it.

Karana, SM52595, And Zecronno appear.

Karana: Man, It's dark here. That's so weird. Oh well...

Karana snaps one of her fingers and light energy shoots out of it, lighting up a small area, kind of like a candle.

OOC: Her funeral.

IC:

Several Gloom soldiers are surrounding Karana.

Karana: AAAHHH!

Karana throws light orbs at the Gloom Soldiers.

The Gloom Soldiers hit disappate, while the others swarm towards Karana.

Karana continues firing blasts at them. SM52595 paints on them so they can't see and Zecronno pounces on some of them.

The Gloom Soldiers disappate, but several more come and dogpile Karana, knocking her to the ground.

Karana lets out a huge explosion of light.

This destroys the Gloom soldiers, but more keep coming.

Karana keeps attacking using light-based attacks.

Karana: How many of these are there?!

Meanwhile...

Toxin sees that it is suddenly light, then dark, then light, then dark, ect. He also notices that the Gloom Soldiers are headed toward there.

Toxin: Spider-Man! We have to get down there!

The Gloom Soldiers keep coming.
