Gotham City (Batman)

Harvey: Take it to the boys at Engineering and see what they can do with it.

OOC: He'd probably say that a lot differently, but it's hard for me to do an effective New York accent.

The policeman nods and carries the robot away with the help of some other policemen.

The robot is surprisingly light, for something made of metal. Meanwhile, the Riddler starts working on a new virtual reality program.

Meanwhile, Clayface slithers around the city as a puddle.

Meanwhile, Scarecrow brews more Fear Gas.

Meanwhile, Dick parks his motorcycle in a back alley and gets on his "Nightwing" costume. He then starts swinging across rooftops with the "Bat Hook". (I currently forget it's real name.)

OOC: A crappy game based on The Batman calls it the Batgrapnel, but I think it's called the Batgrapple or something like that.

OOC: Thank you. =D

Due to poor ventilation, trace amounts of Fear Gas leak out from the chimney in Scarecrow's hideout and into the air.

Nightwing swings by the building Scarecrow's in and unknowingly breathes in some of the Fear Gas.

This should cause Nightwing to see his greatest fear.

Nightwing sees what appears to be Batman.
Nightwing: Bruce? What are you doing here?
"Batman": To watch you be as miserable as ever, of course. You'll never be as good as me, and you know it. You're just some punk kid dressed in a bad Halloween costume.
"Batman" then punches Nightwing in the face.

None of my Batman villains (not even Scarecrow) are aware of what's going on.

Nightwing's hallucination continues.

Scarecrow notices an open ventilation shaft (but not the Fear Gas escaping through it), walks over to the shaft, and closes it.

Meanwhile, Nightwing keeps fighting "Batman", who keeps taunting him.

The effect of the Fear Gas starts wearing off.

"Batman" vanishes and Nightwing rubs his head.
Nightwing: Was...was that real?

Scarecrow keeps making some Fear Gas to make up for the amount he lost.

Nightwing walks over to Scarecrow's house and knocks on the door.

Scarecrow quickly hides the Fear Gas equipment.
Scarecrow: *in sing-song old lady voice* Who is it?

Nightwing: Could I come in for a sec, ma'am? I...saw something when I came by your house.

Scarecrow: *in same voice* Oh, but my house is in such a clutter! I doubt you'd find anything!

Nightwing: I'm sure I've searched through bigger messes.

Scarecrow silently picks up a gun loaded with Fear Gas canisters.
Scarecrow: *in that voice* I suppose you can come in, then...
Scarecrow aims his gun at the door.
