Gotham City (Batman)

Batgirl: Well, this is just great.

Scarecrow: Wait until you see what I have in mind for you...
Scarecrow brews some more Fear Gas.

Kunari: Akira, did you see him yet?

Akira: Not really. He must be around here somewhere.. Wait! Get down!! *hides Kunari in the alley* I hear footsteps..

Batgirl gets out a Batarang and tries to reach towards the rope and cut it.

Scarecrow doesn't notice Batgirl.

Batgirl reaches the rope and starts cutting it.

*It was the weapon smugglers who were driving the truck.*

Kunari: Hmm... I wonder..

Akira: What?

Scarecrow hears the cutting noise and looks up to see Batgirl. Meanwhile, the weapons smugglers are not related to Riddler or his dealings in any way.

Batgirl quickly hides the Batarang behind her.

OOC: Guess the two has to find out for themselves.

OOC: Well, he IS the Riddler.

IC:

Scarecrow: I almost forgot...
Scarecrow moves a ladder near Batgirl, climbs the ladder, and removes her utility belt.

Batgirl still has the Batarang behind her.

Kunari: Any signs of him yet?

Akira: Not yet.. Kunari, this isn't working. We need to find the clues on the whereabouts of the Riddler's location.

Kunari: You mean like... Where to go first, next, and last?

Akira: Yeah. That way we wouldn't be going around circles.

Scarecrow takes the Batarang that's behind Batgirl's back as well.

Batgirl tries to think of something else.

Some Fear Gas gets loose from somewhere and sprays Batgirl's face.

Batgirl starts seeing halucinations of both Batman and her father dying.
Batgirl: NO!

Scarecrow: I've always wondered how dropping someone from a great height affects their hallucination...
Scarecrow widens the rope hole holding Batgirl up, which should cause her to drop to the ground.

This does indeed happen. Batgirl curls up on the floor, looking terrified.

Scarecrow pulls out a pen and paper and writes some stuff down.

*Meanwhile, there was a bank robbery in progress. Two thieves stole the bag of cash.*

Kunari: HEY! Those jerks are stealing the money! Let's thrash them!! *jumps in front of the thieves* Hey, haven't you heard of the word.. "job"?! *Whacks Thief A with his Stunner.

Akira: And "investment?!!" *threw Ninja Stars at Thief B.*

Meanwhile, Batman and Robin run around the city, trying to calm down the citizens.

Batman and Robin don't have much luck, as Fear Gas is now in its middle stages where it's hard to dispel.

Kunari: The thieves aren't the connection to the Riddler, but.. *tied the thieves up* at least we caught some criminals. The police should be here soon.

Akira: When we're done, we'll keep looking for him. If only we can find one of his riddling clues.
