Trang: There is too many of them!!

Serious Sam: Actually, they fled!

*Mental's minions flee*

Trang: Now what?

Serious Sam: If that girl said she's hurt badly, take her to the hospital.

Trang: But--

Serious Sam: But nothing! *walks away* And there is that mysterious laboratory right there. I'm going to check out what's up with that. *goes to the Huge Lab*\

Trang: *to Amy* Hey, are you ok?

Thor:Hmm..There's something about that girl i just dont know what.*sits down on a rock and starts thinking*

*Serious Sam enters the lab*

Thor:Hmmm....Eh?Could it be...No...*Leaves the topic by driving the rock like a car*

Trang: Wonder what's up with Thor?

*Amy skips around giggling*

Amy: I like chicken, I like liver. EWW, NO I DON'T.

*Amy trips over her own feet, falls, and starts to cry*

*Trang heads to Amy and picks her up*

Trang: My god, are you alright?!

Voice: Hello. Would you like to be a test subject for Aperature Science Labs? We will make you go through some tests in which you will need to use our Portal Device to get through various puzzles.

Serious Sam: Hah, when there is a serious challenge, I'm in!! What's in it for me?

*There is a Portal Device in front of Serious Sam. He then obtains it*

Serious Sam: BEHOLD, WHEN SERIOUS MEETS PHYSICS! I can break them into a billions of pieces with this.

*There are Goombas in front of Serious Sam*

Serious Sam: They don't work for Mental, but they're thugs anyway!! *switches to his minigun and kills the Goombas*

Goomba: AH! *flees into the next Test Room.*

Serious Sam: Anyway, what's the catch if I succeed all test subjects?

*Serious Sam's weapons are teleported away*

Voice: You will need to figure out how to complete these tests. You need to get that energy ball...

*An energy ball is seen bouncing back and forth*

Voice: Into there.

*There is some sort of container. Above it, there is a red portal*

Voice: Blue Portals lead to red portals, red portals lead to blue portals. Ready, set, go.

Serious Sam: Piece of cake. *whips out Portal Device* Even though I am seriously pissed about not using my weapons here. *Blasts and makes portals to lead the Energy Ball to the container* See? I told ya.

*Goombas surround Serious Sam. A Fire Pit Opens up in the floor and the red Portal Moves above it*

*Sam shoots the Blue Portal to the wall and shoot the Orange Portal to the other wall that is near the Red Portal. He goes through and comes out of the orange portal.*

*Serious Sam dies because he falls in the lava pit. (The Goombas and Sam are surrounded by it with no exit) There was no way to get out until you figure out how to get rid of the goombas.*

*Serious Sam re-appears at the beginning of the level. He has to re-do it.*

Serious Sam: Dang!! I flunk at this test. But I flunk worse in math. Oh well. *Does the same thing as last time to put the Energy Ball in the container.* Alright.

*Goombas appear around Serious Sam*

Serious Sam: Now it's personal!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGHH!! *Shoots blue portals at Goombas, leading them out of the red portal and they die from burning.*

*The Floor closes up and a door appears at the end of the room.*

Serious Sam: Hah. Not too bad. *enters the next room; noticed a cube with hearts on each side.* What the hell?

*It was the Companion Cube*

Serious Sam: Hey, what is this thing?!

Voice: This is the companion cube. You will need to take it with you on your next level. You will need to keep it with you at all times. Please note that the cube is an inanimate object and will not threaten to stab you. Also note that it has no hands.

Serious Sam: Companion Cube? Heh, more like useless to me. Anyway, *uses the Portal Device to pick up the cube* Alright, "Cubey," you're coming with me for some serious fun. *enters the next room.*

An energy ball is bouncing back and down a hallway, blocking Sam's progression. A spider crawls down a wall and is hit by the energy ball. There is no trace left of the spider*

Serious Sam: Remind me to get that for Mental. Ha ha ha ha! *shoots the blue portal near the exit, and shoot the orange portal at the wall he's near with; enters and comes otu of the blue portal with the companion cube* Ha! Eat my underpants, energy ball! *enters the next room with the cube*

*The Energy Ball hits Sam before he can enter the portal. He dies and restarts from before he created the previous two portals*

Serious Sam: That's it, I'm sending that thing to it's container.. Wait, where is the container?!

*There is no container. You have to find a way past it without letting it touch you*

Voice: Sometimes you have to think outside the box. Or in this case, cube.
