The Floating Island (Cave Story)

Merloco: He's right, though. If we didn't come along just in time, he would have had you for lunch.

Sue: I told you, I can handle myself!
Alex: And I'm the queen of England.
Sue: QUIT TALKING!
Alex, quickly losing his patience, takes out his SMG.

Yoko and Julius grab hold of Alex and try to restrain him.

Alex tries to get loose.
Alex: Let go! I just want to hurt her!

Yoko: ALEX!!!

Julius: I think she is hurt enough already.

Alex: No, she's not! She doesn't even know the meaning of pain!
John sighs, gets up, and injects a sedative into Alex's neck via syringe, putting Alex to sleep.

Joshua: Good one.

John says nothing and goes back next to Cameron. Meanwhile, Duma starts sniffing Igor's corpse.

Merloco: Okay... Do you know anything about a key down here?

Sue: NO! And why would I tell yo...
Curly: Sue, these people are our friends. They're here to help.
Sue: ... Fine. But I still don't know anything.
Duma starts fishing for something in Igor's jacket.

Yoko sees what Duma is doing and walks up to her.

Yoko: What are you doing?

Duma pulls a key covered in rabbit fur out from Igor's jacket... with her teeth. What do you expect? Her arms are generally useless for anything except clawing.

Yoko: Hey guys! I think Dums found the key!

Merloco: Good job Duma!

OOC: "Dums"? Best typo ever.

IC:

Alex wakes up, grabs the key and inspects it.
Alex: I think this might unlock the temple!
Sue: Yeah, that's great. But since you're here to help, you're going to help me find my brother and the Mimigas.
Alex mutters incoherently.

Merloco: *Sigh.* It's only fair.

Sue: Problem is, I have no idea where they would be...
Alex notices the major hint on finding Kazuma and the Mimigas, wonders why Sue didn't think of it, smacks his forehead, and sighs.

Yoko looks at Alex.

Alex: Perhaps you should've tried following the footprints to wherever the large bunny put them?
Sue: ... Good idea.
Sue bolts off, following the footprints.

Merloco: ... Okay,she'sgone,letsgo.

Merloco tries to walk in the opposite direction, but Yoko grabs him by the hood and trudges after Sue.

Merloco: AH!!! AH!!! EASY!!!

Julius sighs and follows Yoko.

Alex tries to do the same as Merloco, but is grabbed by Quote instead of Yoko. The White Platoon follows Sue... to a large shack in the middle of nowhere.

Yoko: That must be where that thing is keeping them.

Merloco rolls his eyes and does the retarded hand motion.

Alex silently nods in agreement before seeing that Sue, who arrived earlier, is trying to push open the door. He then notices the "pull" sign above the door.

Merloco stands up and sees this.

Merloco: HAVE YOU NEVER HEARD THE SAYING "LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP!?!?"

Sue: No.
Alex: *muttered under breath* Well, that's obvious.
Alex walks up to the door, shoves Sue out of the way, and pulls the door open. Muffled cries for help are heard inside, but due to plotholes and Cave Story logic, you can't see what's inside unless you go into the shack. The White Platoon does so.

Followed by Yoko, Julius, and Merloco.
